Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- 電池モジュールであって、
複数の熱交換器を有する複数の電池セルアッセンブリと、
複数の電池セルアッセンブリに操作可能に結合された第一冷却マニホールドとを備えてなり、
前記第一冷却マニホールドが、マニホールド部とカバープレートを有してなり、
前記マニホールド部が、周壁と、前記周壁に結合した後壁と、及び分流器とを有してなり、
前記周壁が、延伸している入口開口部を伴った頂部を有してなり、
前記後壁が、延伸している複数の出口開口部を有してなり、
前記カバープレートが、前記後壁に対向する前記周壁に結合されてなり、
前記分流器が、前記後壁から延伸してなり、かつ、入口開口部の下に配置されてなり、
前記分流器が、入口開口部から流体を受容し、かつ、該流体を分流するように構成されてなり、前記流体の実質的に等しい流量が、複数の出口開口部の各出口開口部を通って複数の熱交換器の各熱交換器まで得られて、前記複数の電池セルアッセンブリを冷却するものである、電池モジュール。 - 前記分流器が、この分流器上に互いに間隔を開けた複数の溝を伴う第一プレートを備えてなり、
前記複数の溝が、前記第一プレートの末端から前記後壁近くまで前記カバープレートに向かって延伸してなる、請求項1に記載された電池モジュール。 - 前記マニホールド部と前記カバープレートの両方がプラスチックで構成されてなる、請求項1に記載された電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の熱交換器から該流体を受容するため構成された第二冷却マニホールドを更に備えてなる、請求項1に記載された電池モジュール。
- 各出口開口部を通って該流体の流量が第一流量の±5%以内である、請求項1に記載された電池モジュール。
- 各電池セルアッセンブリが電池セルを有してなる、請求項1に記載された電池モジュール。
- 電池モジュールを冷却する方法であって、
前記電池モジュールが、複数の電池セルアッセンブリと、第一冷却マニホールドを有してなり、
前記複数の電池セルアッセンブリが、複数の熱交換器を有してなり、
前記方法が、
前記第一冷却マニホールドの中に流体を送り、
分流器を利用して前記第一冷却マニホールド内で該流体を分流し、該流体の実質的に等しい流量が前記第一冷却マニホールドを通って延伸してなる複数の出口開口部の各出口開口部を通って得られてなり、及び
各出口開口部から前記複数の熱交換器の各熱交換器の中に該流体を送ってなり、複数の電池セルアッセンブリを冷却することを含んでなる、冷却方法。 - 各出口開口部を通って該流体の前記流量が第一流量の±5%以内である、請求項7に記載された冷却方法。
- 複数の電池セルアッセンブリを有してなる、電池モジュールの冷却マニホールドであって、
マニホールド部と、カバープレートを備えてなり、
前記マニホールド部が、周壁と、前記周壁に結合した後壁と、及び分流器を有してなり、
前記周壁が、延伸している入口開口部を伴う頂部を有してなり、
前記後壁が、延伸している複数の出口開口部を有してなり、
前記分流器が、後壁から延伸してなり、かつ、前記入口開口部の下に配置されてなり、
前記分流器が、前記入口開口部から流体を受容し、かつ、該流体を分流するように構成されてなり、実質的に等しい流量が複数の出口開口部の各出口開口部を通って複数の電池セルアッセンブリの各電池セルアッセンブリまで得られてなり、及び、
前記カバープレートが、前記後壁に対向する前記マニホールド部の前記周壁に結合されてなる、冷却マニホールド。 - 前記分流器が、該分流器上に互いに間隔を開けた複数の溝を伴う第一プレートを備えてなり、
前記複数の溝が、前記第一プレートの末端から前記後壁近くまで前記カバープレートに向かって延伸してなる、請求項9に記載された冷却マニホールド。 - 前記マニホールド部と前記カバープレートの両方がプラスチックで構成されてなる、請求項9に記載された冷却マニホールド。
- 各出口開口部を通って該流体の前記流量が第一流量の±5%以内である、請求項9に記載された冷却マニホールド。
