Abstract

　EPDM 100重量部に対して、カーボンブラック5～120重量部、瀝青質微粉末70～150重量部および有機過酸化物0.2～8重量部を含有するゴム組成物。このゴム組成物より得られた架橋ゴムは、耐熱性およびシール性に優れるとともに、炭酸ガスと接触した場合に圧力変化によるブリスタの発生を抑える。具体的には、炭酸ガス冷媒用シール材料に必要な特性である炭酸ガスの急減圧による耐発泡特性、高温時の製品寿命を左右する耐圧縮永久歪特性にすぐれているので、炭酸ガス冷媒に対するシール製品、例えばOリング、パッキン、ガスケット、オイルシール、バルブなどに好適に用いることができる。
