Abstract

 多数本の強化繊維が一方向に配列されたチョップド繊維束であって、各強化繊維の繊維長が5乃至100mmの範囲内であり、チョップド繊維束の強化繊維の配向方向の両端部を開始点としてチョップド繊維束の中央部に向かって、強化繊維の配向方向に強化繊維の本数が増加する遷移区間を有し、チョップド繊維束の長手方向の全域に亘って、多数本の強化繊維の総断面積の変化量が、強化繊維の配列方向に1mm当たり0.05mm2以下であるチョップド繊維束。
