Abstract
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind neue, für ein Polypeptid mit Citratsynthase Aktivität kodierende Polynukleotide, Bakterien die diese enthalten, bevorzugt der Gattung Corynebacterium und Escherichia, und Verfahren zur Herstellung von Aminosäuren unter Verwendung dieser Bakterien. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist dabei insbesondere ein isoliertes Polynukleotid, das für ein Polypeptid kodiert, welches die Aminosäuresequenz von SEQ ID NO:2 umfasst, wobei die L-Asparaginsäure an Position 5 der Aminosäuresequenz durch eine andere proteinogene Aminosäure ersetzt ist und wobei das Polypeptid Citratsynthase Aktivität besitzt.
