Be it known that I, JOHN E. MCMENQMAY, a citizen of the United States, and a. resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Fire-Place Grate, of which the following is a specification.
My design for a fire-placegrnteis fully shown in the photographic illustration, the design 10 consisting of the ornamentation of the back and side plates of the structure. The back plate is rectangulanand has a central sunken panel provided with ornamentation, the main features of which are a number of stems with 15 leaves and thistles and raised bead, forming the pattern, as shown.
