DESIGN FOR A COOKING-RANGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,175, dated February 15, 1881.
Application filed January 18, 1881.
T 0 all whom it may concern Be it known that I, GARRETTSON SMITH, a citizen of the United States, residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a new and original Design for 2. Cooking-Range, of which the following is a specification.
My design is fully shown in the accompanying drawing, which represents a. perspective View of the range.
The range has afiat top, A, and flat hearthplates B and D, each having a beveled and polished edge, u.
The main oven-door is rectangular in shape, and has two rows of beveled beading, b and (I, and an ornamental border, 0, surrounding the central panel,f, which carries the title of the stove and has a. fluted edge.
The front fire cloor has a beveled edge, g, ornamental border h,'and two mica panels, 2' i, the end fire-door having a. beveled edge, 9, border h, and four mica-panels, '5.
Term of patent 7 yearsv The front ash-door has a central damper, m, and an ornament, n, on each side thereof.
The feet 8 are shaped as shown, and have 25 face ornaments t and w.
I claim-- 1. The design for the oven-door, said design comprising the beveled beads b d, the border 6, and thecentral panel. /',as shown anddescribed. o
2. The design for the complete range, said design comprising the top and hearth plates, with beveled edges, the oven-door, front and end fire-doors, ash-pit door, and feet, as shown and described.
