DESIGN FOR A COOKlNG-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,326, dated October 1, 1889.

Application filed August 10, 1889- Serial No. 320,414- Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, JAMES DWYER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, county of \Vayne, State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Wood Cooking-Stoves; and I declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which forms a part of this specification.

The drawing is a perspective View of a cooking-stove illustrating my design.

The prominent features of my design are as follows:

A is a foot-section, each foot being plain, but ornamented at the upper end by a rosette surrounded by flame-scrolls, and a band between the legs is ornamented with rosettes surrounded by scrolls or vine-work.

B, G, and D are plain bands at the edges of the bottom flange, hearthmnd top of the stove. Above the band B is the oven-door, ornamented at its forward end by a spiral flaming scroll. At its rear end is a medallion or circular figure surrounded by embossed fluted or crimped bands, which are continued to the top and bottom of the door, as shown, and the field above and below the medallion is ornamented with embossed scrolls, and there is an embossed spiral scroll on the door between the hinges. The door is swelled outwardly.

F is the fuel-door, G a section beneath the reservoir, and H the door of the warmingcloset. Each of these has a central rosette bounded at the sides by parallel fluted or crimped bands and with the general field ornamented with embossed scrolls, as shown. The doors 1* H and the section G are each swelled outwardly, and all, together with the oven-door,are surrounded by plain molding.

What I claim is- 1. The design for a cooking-stove, consisting of the foot-section A, ornamented with rosettes and scrolls, as shown, the plain bands 13 G D,the oven-door ornamented with a flaming scroll and medallion or circular figure, bordered as shown, and with f uel-door, warming-oven door, and section G, each ornamented with a central rosette, orimped bends, and scrolls, substantially as set forth. 7

2. In the design for a stove, the foot-section A, ornamented with rosettes and vinework or scrolls, as shown.

3. In the design for a stove, the oven-door E, ornamented at the forward portion by a flaming spiral scroll and at its rear portion by a medallion or circular figure located on a panel ornamented with scrolls and with the fluted or crimped border, substantially as shown.

4. In the design for a stove, the fuel-door, heating-oven door, and section G, each ornamented with central medallions, parallel upright bands, fluted or crimped as shown, and a general field ornamented by scrolls, substantially as described and shown.
