DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 19,415, dated November 12, 1889.

Application filed August 10, 1889. Serial No. 820,419. Term of patent '7 years- To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that 1, JAMES DVVYER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, county of Wayne, State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a- Cooking-Stove; and I declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawing, which forms a part of this specification.

The drawing is a view in perspective embodying my invention.

The design which is the subject-matter of this application embodies the following elements:

A represents the legs, ornamented from top to toe with embossed scrolls.

B, C, D, and E are plain bands.

F is the oven-door, ornamented with fanshaped figures at the four corners, the door having a plain surface and of swelled form. There is also an ornani'ent in the form of a rosette embracing the handle. Straight stems project therefrom horizontally for a certain distance and then terminate in scrolls and leaves. The fuel-door G is similarly decorated with fan figures at the four corners and with a scroll-work springing from the handle and extending thence across the door, the door having a general plain surface and of swelled form. Beneath the reservoir there is a section II, of swelled form, with fan figures at its corners, and with a spray of scroll-work starting from its lower edge and extending over part of its surface. Beneath this is a bracket J, ornamented at its edge with the plain band E and with the upright parallel moldings j, curved at the top, as shown.

What I claim is 1. The design for a stove, consisting of the legs A, ornamented from top to toe with embossed scrolls, oven-door E, fuel-door G, and section II, all of swelled form, with fan ornaments at the four corners and a scroll figure on the face, plain bands B C D E, and molded section j, substantially as described and shown.

2. In the design for a stove, the oven-doo r F, of swelled form, with fan ornaments atits corners,a rosette surrounding the handle, stems leading horizontally therefrom across the door and terminatingin aspray of scrolls and leaves, substantially as described and shown.

3. In the design for a stove, the stove fueldoor G and section H, each with fan ornaments at the four corners, a large spray of scrolls and leaves projecting over the general surface, said general surface being of swelled from, substantially as shown.

4. In the design for a stove, the bracketsection J, provided with an ornamentation consisting of parallel moldings ,7, Curved at their tops, substantially as shown.
