Postupak dobijanja u osnovi čitog enantiomera N-zaštićenog (1R, 4S)-2-azabiciklo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-ona, formule (IV) U kojoj je P aktivirajuća i zaštitna grupa, naznačen time, što se racemska smeša N-zaštićenog (+)-2- azabiciklo[2.2.1]hept-5-en-3-ona (V) U kojoj je P aktivirajuća i zaštitna grupa, tretira sa enzimom acilaze, pa se neizreagovali enantiomer formule (IV) izoluje iz reakcione smeše konvencionalnim postupcima. Prijava sadrži još 13 zavisnih patentnih zahteva.
