Abstract

La invencion se refiere a una mezcla inoculante para el tratamiento de hierro fundido liquido, que comprende 5 a 75% en peso de una aleacion del tipo A a base de ferro-silicio en donde Si/Fe > 2, que contiene 0.005 a 3% en peso de tierras raras, 0.005 a 3% de bismuto, plomo y/o antimonio, y menos de 3% de calcio, con una relacion (Bi+Pb+Sb)/TR de entre 0.9 y 2.2 y 25 a 95% de al menos una aleacion del tipo B a base de silicio o ferro-silicio de tal manera que Si/Fe >2, que contiene calcio hasta un nivel tal que la cantidad total de calcio en la mezcla sea de 0.3 a 3%. Las mezclas anteriores tienen una adecuada estabilidad granulometrica con el tiempo y proporcionan una inoculacion eficiente de piezas fundidas, en particular piezas delgadas.
