Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en inokulantblanding for behandling av smeltet støpejern, omfattende 5-75 vekt% av en ferrosihsiumlegering av type A, hvor Si/Fe > 2, inneholdende 0,005-3 vekt% sjeldne jordarter, 0,005-3 % vismut, bly og/eller antimon og mindre enn 3 % kalsium, med et forhold (Bi+Pb+Sb)/TR på mellom 0,9 og 2,2, og 25-95 % av minst én legering av type B, basert på silisium eller ferrosilisium, slik at Si/Fe > 2, inneholdende kalsium i et slikt nivå at den totale mengde av kalsium i blandingen er fra 0,3-3 %. De ovennevnte blandinger har en god granulomefrisk stabilitet over tid, og tilveiebringer en effektiv inokulering av støpestykker, særhg av tynne stykker.
