Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición edulcorante de bajas calorías con una sinergia de dulzura que proporciona una reducción del sabor amargo y un perfil temporal deseable. La composición edulcorante contiene alulosa, fructosa y sucralosa. En una modalidad preferida, la composición edulcorante contiene alulosa en una cantidad de al menos aproximadamente 45%, fructosa en una cantidad de al menos aproximadamente 20%, y sucralosa en una cantidad de al menos aproximadamente 0.01% en peso en relación al peso total de alulosa, fructosa y sucralosa en la composición. La composición edulcorante es adecuada para usarse como un sustituto para los azúcares altos en calorías. La composición edulcorante deberá usarse en alimentos y bebidas, productos farmacéuticos, productos nutricionales y productos cosméticos.
