Abstract
Se describe un aparato para convertir entre energía mecánica y energía eléctrica, particularmente apropiado para uso como alternador compacto de alta potencia para uso automotriz y adaptación retroactiva de "remover y reemplazar" de vehículos existentes. Varios aspectos de la invención proveen un medio para incrementar significativamente la potencia de alternadores de imán permanente en tanto que tratan las cuestiones de carga radial aplicada a un rotor del alternador de imán permanente.
