Abstract
Un rotor para una máquina de polo modulado, el rotor siendo configurado para generar un campo magnético de rotor para interacción con un campo magnético de estator de un estator de la máquina de polo modulado, en donde el rotor comprende: una estructura de soporte tubular definiendo (201, 301) una superficie de montaje circunferencial, la estructura de soporte tubular comprendiendo una pluralidad de recesos alargados (202) en la superficie de montaje, los recesos alargados extendiéndose en una dirección axial de la estructura de soporte tubular y una pluralidad de imanes permanentes (203) dispuestos en la superficie de montaje de la estructura de soporte tubular y magnetizados en la dirección circunferencial del rotor para generar el campo magnético de rotor, los imanes permanentes (203) siendo separados de cada otro en la dirección circunferencial del rotor por secciones de polo de rotor extendiéndose axialmente (204) para dirigir el campo magnético de rotor generado por los imanes permanentes en una dirección radial, en donde al menos un imán permanente (203) o una sección de polo de rotor (204) se extiende al menos parcialmente en uno de la pluralidad de recesos.
