Abstract
Se describen métodos y aparatos para construir un símbolo piloto para una trama de comunicación transmitida en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica, como un sistema OFDM. En particular, los métodos y aparatos generan al menos una secuencia de ruido pseudoaleatoria que tiene al menos una longitud predeterminada, donde al menos una secuencia de ruido pseudoaleatoria representa una configuración de sistema de un sistema inalámbrico. Una secuencia de símbolos en el dominio del tiempo es modulada con al menos una secuencia de ruido pseudoaleatoria para crear una símbolo piloto de adquisición de temporización. El símbolo piloto de adquisición modulado es enmascarado además al perfil de frecuencia prescrito y colocado en una trama para la transmisión inalámbrica. En consecuencia, pueden ser comunicadas diferentes configuraciones de sistema de un transmisor a un receptor con el símbolo piloto de adquisición modulado con secuencias de ruido pseudoaleatorias diferentes, de manera correspondiente, dando a la vez la baja complejidad requerida para procesar el símbolo piloto de adquisición y una relación de potencia pico a promedio mínima cuando se usa modulación QPSK.
