Abstract

차량용 전단 우측부에 설치되는 보조 전조등은, 포그 램프로서의 기능 이외에 코너링 램프로서의 기능도 구비한다. 전구(18)로부터의 빛을 전방으로 확산·반사시키는 리플렉터(16)에 있어서, 차폭 방향 외측에 위치하는 제1반사면(16A)의 광축(Ax)을 차량 전후 방향 약간 하향으로 설정하는 한편, 차폭 방향 내측에 위치하는 제2반사면(16B)의 광축(Ax')을 제1반사면(16A)의 광축(Ax)에 대하여 차폭 방향 외측 또는 하측을 향하도록 설정한다. 이것에 의해, 제1반사면(16A)에서 차량의 정면 후방 영역을 확산·조사(照射)하여 포그 램프로서의 기능을 확보하는 동시에, 제2반사면(16B)에서 차량의 차폭 방향 외측의 전방 영역을 확산·조사하여 코너링 램프로서의 기능을 확보한다. 제1및 제2반사면(16A, 16B)은 요철형의 수평 단면 형상으로 하여, 그 반사광의 배광(配光) 제어의 용이화를 도모한다.

제2도는 상기 보조 전조등의 주요부의 사시도이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 차량의 차록 방향 중심위치로부터 오프셋한 위치에 설치되며, 전구와, 이 전구로부터의 빛을 전방으로 확산·반사시키는 리플렉터를 구비하는 차량용 보조 전조등에 있어서, 상기 리플렉터는 차폭 방향 외측에 위치하는 제1반사면과, 차폭 방향 내측에 위치하는 제2반사면을 구비하며, 상기 제1및 제2반사면은 요철형의 수평 단면 형상을 구비하며, 그리고 상기 제2반사면의 광축은 상기 제1반사면의 광축에 대하여 차폭 방향 또는 외측 또는 하측을 향하도록 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 보조 전조등.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2반사면은 복수의 오목 또는 볼록혀의 우너통형 계단으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 보조 전조등.
