Abstract

본 발명의 액티브 매트릭스 기판은, 기판상에 매트릭스로 형성되는 다수의 스위칭 소자 및 다수의 픽셀 전극, 스캐닝 신호를 공급하고 다수의 스위칭 소자를 제어하기 위한 스캐닝선, 서로 교차하도록 다수의 스위칭 소자에 데이터 신호를 공급하는 신호선, 각 스캐닝선 또는 각 신호선에 전기적으로 연결되고 외부 단자에 연결되는 단자를 구비한다. 인접한 단자들간에는 유기막이 형성된다.

Claims (6)

  1. 기판과;
    상기 기판상에 매트릭스로 형성되는 다수의 스위칭 소자 및 다수의 픽셀 전극과;
    스캐닝 신호를 공급하고 다수의 스위칭 소자를 제어하기 위한 스캐닝선과;
    서로 교차하도록 형성되는 상기 다수의 스위칭 소자에 데이터 신호를 공급하기 위한 신호선과;
    외부 단자에 연결되며, 각 스캐닝선 또는 각 신호선에 전기적으로 연결되는 단자
    를 포함하며,
    유기막이 인접한 단자들간에 형성되는 액티브 매트릭스 기판.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기막을 층간 절연막으로 사용하고, 상기 층간 절연막은 상기 스캐닝선, 상기 신호선 및 상기 스위칭 소자를 덮도록 형성되는 액티브 매트릭스 기판.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 픽셀 전극은 상기 층간 절연막상에 형성되고, 상기 층간 절연층에 형성된 접촉홀을 통하여 각 스위칭 소자에 연결되는 액티브 매트릭스 기판.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 인접한 단자들간에 형성된 상기 유기막의 두께는 상기 단자들의 두께보다 큰 액티브 매트릭스 기판.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기막은 양성 감광성 수지로 형성되는 액티브 매트릭스 기판.
  6. 디스플레이 매체가 삽입되는 한쌍의 기판들중의 한 기판으로 제1항에 따르는 액티브 매트릭스 기판을 사용하는 디스플레이 장치.
