Abstract
[목적] 정상규격의 화면에 대해 와이드 규격의 화상을 절환가능하게 표시한다.
[구성] 표시패널(1)은 정상규격에 따른 화면(11)에 행렬 배치한 화소(12)를 갖고, 와이드 규격의 영상신호 Vsig를 입력할때 화면(11)에 횡방향의 와드 표시를 가능하게 한다. 수직주사회로(14)는 1행분의 화소(12)를 순차선택한다. 수평주사회로(15)는 선택된 1행분의 화소(12)에 대하여 와이드 규격의 영상신호 Vsig의 1수평 기간분을 기록한다. 타이밍 발생기(3)는 수직주사회로(14)의 순차선택을 타이밍제어하고, 와이드 규격의 영상신호 Vsig로부터 수평기간분을 소정갯수 샘플링하여 화면(11)의 종방향으로 압축된 와이드 표시를 행한다. 타이밍 발생기(3)는 또한 수직주사회로(14) 및 수평주사회로(15)를 제어하여 와이드 표시를 행했을때 화면(11)의 종방향 상하에 남겨진 잔여부에 대해 흑신호를 영상신호보다 고속으로 기록한다.

Claims (7)
- 정상 규격에 따른 화면에 행렬배치한 화소를 갖고, 와이드 규격의 영상신호를 입력했을때 상기 화면에 횡방향의 와이드 표시가 가능한 능동 매트릭스 장치에 있어서, 1행분의 화소를 순차선택하는 수직주사회로와, 선택된 1행분의 화소에 대하여 와이드 규격의 영상신호의 1수평 기간분을 기록하는 수평주사회로와, 상기 수직주사회로의 순차선택을 타이밍제어하고 와이드 규격의 영상신호로부터 수평기간분을 소정갯수 샘플링하여 화면의 종방향으로 압축된 와이드 표시를 행하는 샘플링 수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 와이드 표시를 행할때 화면의 종방향 상하에 남겨진 잔여부에 대하여, 상기 수평주사회로 및 수직주사회로를 구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은 흑신호기록시 고속클럭 신호를 공급하여 상기 수평주사회로 및 수직주사회로를 구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은 상기 수직주사회로를 정하는 한편, 상기 수평주사회로를 등속구동하여 화소의 각열에 접속한 신호라인에 흑신호를 샘플링하고, 이어서 상기 수직 주사회로를 고속구동하여 소정 갯수분의 화소행을 순차선택하여 흑신호를 기록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은 상기 수평주사회로를 개방하여 화소의 각 열에 접속한 신호라인에 흑신호를 동시에 샘플링하는 한편, 상기 수직주사회로를 고속구동하여 소정갯수분의 화소행을 순차선택하고 흑신호를 기록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 능동 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 정상규격에 따라 화면에 행렬 배치한 화소를 구동하는 수직주사회로 및 수평주사회로에 타이밍 신호를 공급하여 와이드 규격의 영상신호가 입력되었을때 상기 화면에 횡방향의 와이드 표시를 나타낼때의 타이밍 제어를 행하는 타이밍 발생기에 있어서, 제1타이밍 신호를 상기 수직주사회로에 공급하여 1행분의 화소를 순차선택하고, 제2타이밍 신호를 상기 수평주사회로에 공급하여, 선택된 1행분의 화소에 대하여 와이드 규격의 영상신호의 1수평 기간분을 기록하며, 제3타이밍 신호를 상기 수직주사회로에 공급하고, 상기 순차선택을 타이밍제어하여 와이드 규격의 영상신호로 부터 수평 기간분을 소정갯수 샘플링하여 화면의 종방향으로 압축된 와이드 표시를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 타이밍 발생기.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 수평주사회로 및 수직주사회로를 변칙적으로 제어하는 수단을 갖고 있고, 와이드 표시를 행하였을 때 화면의 종방향 상하에 암겨진 잔여부에 대한 흑신호를 영상신호보다 고속으로 기록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 타이밍 발생기.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
