Abstract
본 발명은 초산 에스테르의 개선된 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 메탄올로부터 기상 카르보닐화 반응을 통해 얻은 메틸아세테이트를 원료로 사용하여 각종 알콜과 에스테르화 교환 반응시켜 초산 에스테르를 제조한다.
이와 같은 방법은 공업적으로 유용한 각종 에스테르를 제조하는데 있어서 제조단가를 절감시킬 뿐 아니라 촉매의 회수 문제 및 장치의 부식 문제를 해결할 수 있다.

제 1 도는 본 발명의 트랜스에스테르화 반응을 수행하기 위한 촉매 반응 증류 장치를 도시한 개략도.
Claims (10)
- 알코올을 증류탑 상단에서 비점 이하의 온도를 주입하고 과량의 메틸아세테이트를 증류탑 하단에서 비점 이상의 온도로 주입하여 탑 중간에 충진된 산 촉매층 내에서 에스테르 교환 반응시키는 것이 특징인, 초산 에스테르의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 산 촉매가 이온 교환 수지인 것인 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 초산 에스테르 탑 하단에서 수득하고, 메틸아세테이트와 메탄올의 혼합물을 탑 상단으로 제거하는 것인 방법.
- 로듐 촉매 및 할라이드계 조촉매 하에 메탄올을 일산화탄소와 기상 카르보닐화 반응시켜 메틸아세테이트와 아세트산을 얻는 제 1 공정, 생성된 메틸아세테이트와 초산의 혼합물로부터 메틸아세테이트를 분리하는 제 2 공정, 분리된 메탈아세테이트를 산촉매 존재하에 알콜과 에스테르 교환 반응시켜 초산 에스테를 생산하는 제 3 공정으로 이루어진 것이 특징인 초산 에스테르의 제조 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 공정의 기상 메탄올 카르보닐화 반응을 상압내지 10.55Kg/cm2(150 psi)의 압력하에 100내지 300℃의 온도에서 수행하는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 공정에서 사용된 로듐 촉매가, 불활성 담체의 양을 기준으로 0.1 내지 20중량%(Rh환산)의 로듐 화합물을 물 또는 유기 용매 중에서 용해시키고, 이것을 로듐의 양을 기준으로 1 내지 1,000몰%의 알칼리 또는 알칼리토금속 또는 전이 금속과 함께 불활성 담체에 담지시킨 후 100 내지 500℃에서 소결시켜 제조된 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 제 2 공정에서 분리된 할라이드 조촉매를 다시 제 1 공정의 카르보닐화 반응기로 재순환시키는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 제 3 공정에서 생성된 메탄올 및 미반응 메틸아세테이트를 회수하여 제 1 공정의 카르보닐화 반응기로 재순환시키는 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 제 3 공정이 에스테르 교환 반응과 동시에 생성물을 분리하는 촉매 반응 증류에 의해 수행되는 것인 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 산 촉매가 이온교환수지인 것인 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
