제 1 도는 본 발명의 공정에 따라, 흑연 분말층(2)내에 묻혀있고 내화재 용기(1)내에 장입된, ZBC복합체(3)의 개락입단면도.

Claims (8)

  1. 모금속을 선택하는 단계와 ; 상기 모금속을 실질적 불황성 분위기에서 그 용융점 이상의 온도로 가열하여 용융 모금속체를 형성하고, 상기 용융모금속체와 보론 카바이드를 포함하는 덩어리를 접촉시키는 단계 ; 상기 용융 모금속을 상기 덩어리에 침투시키고 상기 용융모금속과 상기 보론 카바이드를 반응시키기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 온도를 유지하여 적어도 하나의 보론 함유 화합물을 형성하는 단계 ; 상기 침투 및 반응 과정을 적어도 하나의 모금속 보론 함유 화합물을 포함하는 자체 지지체를 제조하기에 충분한 시간동안 계속하는 단계 및 ; 상기 자체 지지체에 탄소 첨가 조건을 가하여 자기 지지체내의 잔류 모금속을 목금속 카바이드 성분으로 전환시키는 단계로 구성되며 첫번째 복합체 제조방법을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체 지지체 제조방법.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서 , 상기 자체 지지체를 흑연 분말에 묻고 아르곤 가스를 상기 분말 및 상기 자체 지지체에 접촉시켜 고온에서 탄소 첨가류를 제조하는 방법을 특징으로 하는 자체 지지체 제조방법.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, CO/CO2와 H2/CH4로 구성된 그룹에서 선택된 탄소 첨가가스가 상기 자체 지지체아 접촉하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체 지지체 제조방법.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소첨가가 약 1500~2000oC의 온도에서 일어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체 지지체 제조방법.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소첨가가 약 5-48시간동안 일어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체 지지체 제조방법.
  6. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소첨가가 약 1500-2200oC의 온도에서 약 5-48시간동안 일어나는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체 지지체 제조방법.
  7. 지르코늄, 타이타늄 및 하프늄으로 구성된 그룹에서 선택되고 약 0.5-2부피 % 존재하는 금속상과 3차원적으로 상호 연결된 세라믹상을 포함하여 복합체의 경계까지 연장시킨 복합물로서, 상기 세라믹상은, 지르코늄 카바이드, 타이타늄 카바이드, 하프늄 카바이드로 구성된 그룹에서 선택되는 카바이드를 포함하여 상기 카바이드에 상당하는 금속 보라이드를 추가로 포함하며 작은 평판형 구조물인 것을 특징으로 하는 복합물.
  8. 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 금속상은 지르코늄이며, 상기 카바이드는 지르코늄 카바이드이며, 상기 보라이드는 지르코늄 보라이드인 것을 특징으로 하는 복합물.
