제 2 도는 난연성 용기내에서 질코늄 스폰지 모금속과 접착된 B4C의 입단면도.

Claims (8)

  1. 모금속을 선택하고 ; 실질적인 불활성 대기하에서 상기 모금속을 그의 융점이상의 온도로 가열하여 용융된 모금속체를 형성하고 상기 용융된 모금속을 탄탈륨 카바이드, 질코늄 카바이드 및 질코늄 디보라이드에서 선택된 최소한 하나의 첨가제와 보론 카바이드로 구서오딘 매스와 접촉시키고 ; 상기 용융된 모금속이 상기 매스에 침투되기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 온도를 유지하여 상기 용유된 모금속과 상기 보론 카바이드가 반응하여 최소한 하나의 보론-함유 화합물을 형성하고 ; 최소한 하나의 모금속 보론-함유 화합물로 구성된 자가-지지체를 생성하기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 침투반응을 계속하는 것을 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 최소한 하나의 첨가제가 보롬 카바이드로 구성된 매스내에 약 5-50중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것으로 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 최소한 하나의 첨가제가 매스내에 약 10중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것으로 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
  4. 질코늄 스폰지 모금속을 선택하고 ; 실질적인 불확성 대기하에서 상기 질코늄 스폰지 모금속을 그의 용점 이상의 온도로 가열하여 용융된 모금속체를 형성하고 상기 용융된 모금속을 보론 카바이드로 구성된 매스와 접촉시키고 ; 상기 용융돈 모금속이 상기 매스에 침투되기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 온도를 유지하여 상기 용융된 모금속과 상기 보롬 카바이드가 반응하여 최소한 하나의 보론-함유 화합물을 형성하고 ; 최소한 하나의 모금속 보론-함유 화합물로 구성된 자가-지지체를 생성하기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 침투반응을 계속하는 것으로 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 질코늄 스폰지 모금속이 약 1000중량 ppm미만의 주석을 함유하는 것으로 구성된 자가-자지체의 제조방법.
  6. 제 4 항에 있어서, 질코늄 스폰지 모금속이 약 500중량 ppm미만의 주석을 함유하는 것으로 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
  7. 제 4 항에 있어서, 질코늄 스론지 모금속이 약 200중량 ppm미만의 주석을 함유하는 것으로 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
  8. 약 1000중량 ppm미만의 주석을 함유하는 질코늄 스폰지 모금속을 선택하고 ; 실질적인 불활성 대기하에서 상기 모금속을 그의 융점 이상의 온도로 가열하여 용융된 모금속체를 형성하고 상기 용융된 모금속체를 약 5-50중량%의 양으로 존재하는 탄탈륨 카바이드, 질코늄 카바이드 및 및 질코늄 디보라이드에서 선택된 최소한 하나의 첨가제와 보론 카바이드로 구성된 매스와 접촉시키고 ; 상기 용융된 모금속이 상기 매스에 침투 되기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 온도를 유지하여 상기 용융된 모금속과 상기 보론 카바이드가 반응하여 최소한 하나의 보론-함유 호합물을 형성하고 ; 최소한 하나의 모금속 보론-함유 화합물을 구성된 자가-지지체를 생성하기에 충분한 시간동안 상기 침투반응을 계속하는 것으로 구성된 자가-지지체의 제조방법.
