Procedeul de obtinere a corpurilor autoportante compozit ceramice, conform inventiei, realizeaza infiltrarea metalului primar (ales în mod uzual între Si, Ti, Hf, V, La, Fe, Ca, Nb, Mg, Be si de preferinta, Zr) în masa de carbura de bor preamestecata cu 5 ... 50 % si de preferinta, cu 10 % aditivi ceramici alesi între carbura de tantal, carbura de zirconiu, diborura de zirconiu, carbura de vanadiu, carbura de niobiu, carbura de wolfram si borura de molibden.
