Claims (7)

  1. 여과된 매연입자의 발화온도를 낮추고 이의 연소를 촉진시키는 촉매 및 기체상오염물질의 연소를 촉진시키는 촉매를 갖춘, 배기가스가 가로질러 통과하는 하우징(housing)의 횡단면에 배열된 필터를 가진, 디젤엔진으로 부터의 배기가스를 정화하는 장치에 있어서, 매연의 발화온도를 낮추고 이의 연소를 촉진시키는 촉매를 지지하는 하나 이상의 필터요소 A 와 기체상 오염물질의 연소를 촉진시키는 촉매를 지지하는 하나 이상의 필터요소 B를 서로 수회 엇갈리게 함으로써, 매연입자를 분리시키는 필터요소들을, 하우징내에 직접 연속으로 배열하거나 간격을 두고 배열함을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, A 및 B 형태의 일련의 엇갈리는 개개의 필터요소들 또는 필터요소 그룹들이, 배기가스 흐름의 방향으로 A 형태로 시작하여 B형태로 끝남을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 동일한 기하학적 형태의 필터요소 A 및 B가, 필터요소 두께의 최대한 두배 간격으로 서로 후속함을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  4. 제1 내지 3항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 원형 횡단면의 하우징용 필터요소로서, 지탱장치로서 금속성 테로 임의로 둘러쌓인, 압축와이어 천으로 이루어진 평평한 원판(이는 점남땜, 용접 또는 소결에 의해 틀내에 임의로 안정화되며 연속성의, 내열 및 내식성 와이어로부터 여러층으로 접힌 스토킹(stocking)을 축방향으로 압력을 가함으로써 제조한다)을 사용함을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  5. 제1 내지 4항중 너느 하나에 있어서, 필터 A 용 촉매가, 하기 성분(a) 내지 (e) 중 하나 이상으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 장치.
    a) 산화리튬, b) 오산화바나듐, c) 오산화바나듐+하나 이상의 하기 원소의 산화물(이 산화물의 부가량은 V2O5를 기준하여, 1 내지 30중량%가 바람직하다) : Li,Na,K,Rb,Cs; Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba; B,Al; Si,Sn; Sb,BI; Cu,Ag; Zn; Sc,y,La,Ce,PrMNd,Tb; Ti,Zr,Hf; Nb; Cr,Mo,W; Mn,Re; Fe,Co,Ni; d) 산화물의 부가를 위해 c) 하단에 기술된 하나 이상의 금속의 바나데이트 및, e) 퍼레네이트, 바람직하게는, Li,K,Ag,V의 퍼레네이트.
