Claims (11)
- 식 (1a) 또는 (1b) 로 나타내는 아조 화합물 또는 그 염과, 식 (2) 로 나타내는 아조 화합물 또는 그 염을 함유하는 편광 소자.
(식 중, Ar1 은, 치환기를 적어도 1 개 갖는 페닐기 또는 나프틸기를 나타내고, Rr1 내지 Rr4 는 각각 독립적으로 수소 원자, 저급 알킬기, 저급 알콕시기, 또는 술포기를 갖는 저급 알콕시기를 나타낸다.)
(식 중, Av1 은, 술포기 및 카르복시기에서 선택되는 치환기를 적어도 1 개 갖는 페닐기 또는 나프틸기를 나타내고, Rv1 내지 Rv6 은, 각각 독립적으로 수소 원자, 저급 알킬기, 저급 알콕시기, 또는 술포기를 갖는 저급 알콕시기를 나타내고, Xv1 은, 저급 알킬기, 저급 알콕시기, 술포기, 아미노기, 저급 알킬아미노기, 하이드록시기, 카르복시기, 및 카르복시에틸아미노기로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 치환기를 적어도 1 개 갖고 있어도 되는 아미노기, 페닐아미노기, 페닐아조기, 나프토트리아졸기, 또는 벤조일아미노기를 나타낸다.)
(식 중, Ag1 은 치환기를 갖는 페닐기 또는 나프틸기를 나타내고, Bg 및 Cg 는, 각각 독립적으로 식 (BC-N) 또는 식 (BC-P) 로 나타내어지고, 적어도 일방이 식 (BC-N) 을 나타내고, Xg1 은, 치환기를 가져도 되는 아미노기, 치환기를 가져도 되는 페닐아미노기, 치환기를 가져도 되는 페닐아조기, 또는 치환기를 가져도 되는 벤조일아미노기를 나타낸다.)
(식 중, Rg1 은 수소 원자, 저급 알킬기, 저급 알콕시기, 또는 술포기를 갖는 저급 알콕시기를 나타내고, k 는 0 ∼ 2 의 정수를 나타낸다.)
(Rg2 및 Rg3 은 각각 독립적으로 수소 원자, 저급 알킬기, 저급 알콕시기, 또는 술포기를 갖는 저급 알콕시기를 나타낸다.) - 제 1 항에 있어서,
적어도 1 종의 식 (1a) 로 나타내는 화합물 또는 그 염과 적어도 1 종의 식 (1b) 로 나타내는 화합물 또는 그 염의 양방을 함유하는, 편광 소자. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
Cg 가, 식 (BC-N) 으로 나타내어지는, 편광 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 편광 소자가, 폴리비닐알코올계 수지 필름을 기재로서 포함하는, 편광 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
JIS Z 8781-4 : 2013 에 따라 자연광의 투과율 측정 시에 구해지는 a* 값 및 b* 값의 절대값이,
상기 편광 소자 단체에서, 모두 5.0 이하이고,
상기 편광 소자 2 장을 그 흡수축 방향이 서로 평행이 되도록 겹쳐 배치한 상태에서, 모두 2.0 이하인, 편광 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 편광 소자 2 장을 흡수축 방향이 서로 평행이 되도록 겹쳐 측정하여 구해지는 420 nm 내지 480 nm 의 평균 투과율과, 520 nm 내지 590 nm 의 평균 투과율의 차의 절대값이 2.5 % 이하이고, 또한 520 nm 내지 590 nm 의 평균 투과율과, 600 nm 내지 640 nm 의 평균 투과율의 차의 절대값이 2.0 % 이하인, 편광 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 편광 소자의 단체 투과율이 35 % 내지 65 % 이고,
상기 편광 소자 2 장을 그 흡수축 방향이 서로 평행이 되도록 겹쳐 배치한 상태에서 구해지는 520 nm 내지 590 nm 의 평균 투과율이 25 % 내지 45 % 인, 편광 소자. - 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 편광 소자와, 상기 편광 소자의 편면 또는 양면에 형성된 투명 보호층을 구비하는 편광판.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 편광 소자 또는 제 10 항에 기재된 편광판을 구비하는 액정 표시 장치.
