Claims (8)
- 엔진의 오일 저류 챔버 내의 오일의 표면 레벨을 검출하는 장치로서,상기 오일에서 부유하는 플로트와,상기 플로트의 이동에 의해 동작하는 스위치와,상기 플로트와 스위치를 내장하는 하우징을 포함하며,상기 하우징은, 상기 오일을 퍼 올리는 오일 디퍼(oil dipper)가 상기 하우징의 근처에서 이동할 때에 상기 오일 저류 챔버에 이르는 관통 구멍을, 오일 디퍼의 이동 방향을 향하는 측벽과 반대측의 측벽에 구비하는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스위치는, 상기 플로트의 아래에 배치된 도통 부재와, 상기 도통 부재와 접촉할 수 있도록 상기 하우징에 배치되는 플러스 접점 및 마이너스 접점을 포함하는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 하우징 상에는 상기 플러스 접점과 마이너스 접점이 장착되어 있으며, 상기 하우징은 상기 플로트를 수용하는 하우징 본체와, 상기 하우징 본체의 상부를 덮는 상부 커버와, 상기 하우징 본체의 하부를 덮는 하부 커버와, 상기 하우징 본체의 일단으로부터 연장하는 연장부를 포함하며,상기 연장부의 일단은 상기 하우징 본체에 장착될 수 있고, 상기 측벽이 상 기 하부 커버인 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 연장부는 상기 플러스 접점과 상기 마이너스 접점이 연결되어 있는 부스 바(bus bar)를 구비하는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 하부 커버는, 상기 오일 디퍼의 이동 방향을 향하는 측부의 저면에 형성된 테이퍼부를 구비하는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 상부 커버와 하부 커버는 상기 하우징 본체를 정지시키기 위한 정지부를 포함하고, 상기 하우징 본체는 상기 정지부에 맞물리는 폴(pawl)을 구비하는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 하부 커버에는, 오일이 상기 하부 커버의 하부로부터 상기 하우징 본체 내로 흐를 수 있게 하는 하부 구멍이 형성되어 있는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 상부 커버에는, 위로 비산된 오일이 상기 하우징 본체 내로 흐를 수 있게 하는 상부 구멍이 형성되어 있는 것인 오일의 표면 레벨 검출 장치.
