Claims (10)
- 기판의 적어도 일측에 전극을 갖고, 수직 배향시킨 액정에 전압을 인가하여 구동시키는 액정 표시 소자에 사용되는 액정 배향 처리제로서, 하기 일반식 (Ⅰ) 로 나타내고, 환원점도가 0.05∼5.0㎗/g (온도 30℃ 의 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈 중, 농도 0.5g/㎗) 인 폴리아믹산, 또는 그 아믹산을 탈수 폐환한 폴리이미드 중 어느 하나를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제.식 중, R1 는 4 가의 유기기를 나타내고, 그의 적어도 20몰% 는 2 개 이상 5 개 이하의 축환된 지환 구조를 갖고, 또한 모든 카르보닐기가 지환 구조에 직결(直結)하며, 그 카르보닐기가 지환 구조의 인접하는 탄소에는 결합하고 있지 않은 유기기이고, R2 는 2 가의 유기기를 나타내고, 그의 20∼100몰% 는, 탄소수 5 이상 20 이하의 장쇄 알킬기, 탄소수 5 이상 20 이하의 플루오르화 알킬기, 지환식 구조 및 방향환 구조에서 선택되는 적어도 1 종류의 구조 단위를 측쇄 구조에 갖는 유기기를 나타내고, L 은 양의 정수이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 일반식 (Ⅰ) 에 있어서, R1 의 적어도 20몰% 가, 하기 일반식 (Ⅱ) 로 나타내는 4 가의 유기기인 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제.식 중, X1, X2, X3 및 X4 는 각각 독립적으로 단결합 또는 메틸렌기이고, m 은 1∼3 의 정수를 나타낸다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 일반식 (Ⅰ) 에 있어서, R1 의 적어도 20몰% 가, 하기 구조 (Ⅲ) 로 나타내는 4 가의 유기기인 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 일반식 (Ⅰ) 에 있어서, R1 의 20∼99몰% 가 하기 구조 (Ⅲ) 로 나타내는 4 가의 유기기이고, 나머지의 R1 성분이 하기 구조 중 적어도 1 종류에서 선택되는 4 가의 유기기인 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제.식 중, R3, R4, R5, R6 및 R7 는 각각 독립적으로 수소, 또는 메틸기를 나타낸다.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 일반식 (Ⅰ) 로 나타내는 폴리아믹산, 또는 그 폴리아믹산을 탈수 폐환한 폴리이미드와, 일반식 (Ⅳ) 로 나타내고, 환원점도가 0.05∼5.0㎗/g (온도 30℃ 의 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈 중, 농도 0.5g/㎗) 인 폴리아믹산을 함유하는 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제.식 중, R8 는 4 가의 유기기를 나타내고, R9 은 2 가의 유기기를 나타내고, n 은 양의 정수이다.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 일반식 (Ⅳ) 에 있어서, R8 이 하기 구조 중 적어도 1 종류에서 선택되는 4 가의 유기기인 액정 배향 처리제.식 중, R10, R11, R12, R13 및 R14 는 각각 독립적으로 수소, 또는 메틸기를 나타낸다.
- 제 4 항 또는 제 5 항에 있어서, 일반식 (Ⅰ) 로 나타내는 폴리아믹산, 또는 그 폴리아믹산을 탈수 폐환한 폴리이미드와 일반식 (Ⅳ) 로 나타내는 폴리아믹산의 합계량에 대하여, 일반식 (Ⅰ) 로 나타내는 폴리아믹산 또는 그 폴리아믹산을 탈수 폐환한 폴리이미드의 함유량이, 10중량% 이상 99중량% 이하인 액정 배향 처리제.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 액정 배향 처리제에 포함되는 용매 중, 20∼80중량% 가 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈, 또는 γ-부티로락톤 중 적어도 1 종류의 용매이고, 또한, 80∼20중량% 가 부틸셀로솔브, 프로필렌글리콜모노메틸에테르, 또는 디에틸렌글리콜디에틸에테르에서 선택되는 적어도 1 종류인 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 수직 배향용 액정 배향 처리제를 기판 위에 도포 및 소성을 실시하여 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막.
- 제 9 항에 기재된 액정 배향막을 사용한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 소자.
