Description
Claims (42)
- 광 전송 기판,내부 전반사에 의해 상기 기판에 광을 결합시키는 광학 수단, 및상기 기판에 의해 지탱되는 복수의 부분 반사면을 포함하며,상기 부분 반사면들은 서로 평행하고 상기 기판의 어느 에지와도 평행하지 않는광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 광학 수단은 상기 기판에 의해 지탱되는 파(wave) 반사면인 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면은 내부 전반사에 의해 포획된 광을 상기 기판 밖에서 결합시키는 광학 장치.
- 제2항에서,판독파(readout wave)로부터 이미지파(image wave)를 생성하는 수단을 더 포함하며,상기 판독파와 상기 이미지파는 상기 기판의 동일 면에 위치되는 광학 장치.
- 제2항에서,판독파로부터 이미지파를 생성하는 수단을 더 포함하며,상기 판독파는 상기 기판의 한 면에 위치되고, 상기 이미지파는 상기 기판의 다른 한 면에 위치되는 광학 장치.
- 제2항에서,판독파로부터 이미지파를 생성하는 수단을 더 포함하며,상기 판독파는 상기 기판의 에지 중 하나를 통해 상기 기판에 결합되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율은 균일한 밝기를 갖는 시야(field of view)를 확보하도록 결정되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율은 미리 정해진 밝기를 갖는 시야를 확보하도록 결정되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면 각각의 반사율은 미리 정해진 밝기를 갖는 시야를 확보하기 위하여 국부적으로 변화하는 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 부분 반사면들 사이의 거리는 미리 정해진 밝기를 갖는 시야를 확보하도록 결정되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 기판에 의해 지탱되는 제2 복수의 부분 반사면를 더 포함하고,상기 제2 복수의 부분 반사면은 서로 평행하고 상기 기판의 어느 에지와도 평행하지 않으며, 상기 제1 복수의 부분 반사면과도 평행하지 않는 광학 장치.
- 제11항에서,상기 제2 복수의 부분 반사면은 내부 전반사에 의해 상기 기판에 결합되는 광의 전파 방향을 변경시키는 광학 장치.
- 제11항에서,상기 제2 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율은 균일한 밝기를 갖는 시야를 확보하도록 결정되는 광학 장치.
- 제11항에서,상기 제2 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율은 미리 정해진 밝기를 갖는 시야를 확보하도록 결정되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 기판은 투과(see-through) 작용을 할 수 있도록 부분적으로 투명한 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,외부 광경으로부터 광이 들어오는 것을 방지하기 위하여 상기 기판의 표면에 부착된 불투명층을 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,외부 광경으로부터 상기 장치를 통과하는 광의 밝기를 제어하기 위하여 상기 기판의 표면에 부착된 가변 투과율층(variable transmittance layer)을 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
- 제17항에서,상기 가변 투과율층의 투과율은 외부 광경의 밝기에 따라 자동으로 결정되는광학 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면은 포획된 파를 관찰자의 한쪽 눈에 도달하도록 계산된 방향으로 반사시키는 광학 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면은 포획된 파를 관찰자의 양쪽 눈에 도달하도록 계산된 방향으로 반사시키는 광학 장치.
- 제20항에서,상기 관찰자의 각 눈은 전체 시야 중 일부만을 보고, 양쪽 눈이 함께 전체 시야를 보는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 장치는 동일한 이미지에 대한 두 개의 상이한 초점을 결합시키는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 장치는 외부 광경에 대한 두 개의 상이한 종횡비(aspect)를 결합시키는광학 장치.
- 제11항에서,상기 두 복수의 부분 반사면은 상기 기판으로부터 나온 광 빔의 횡방향 치수(lateral dimension)가 상기 기판에 들어가는 광 빔의 횡방향 치수보다 크도록 상기 기판에 내장되는 광학 장치.
- 제24항에서,상기 두 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율은 균일한 세기를 가지는 출력파를 얻도록 설정되는 광학 장치.
- 제24항에서,상기 두 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율은 미리 정해진 세기를 가지는 출력파를 얻도록 설정되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,가상 망막(virtual retinal) 디스플레이 광원을 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,액정 디스플레이(LCD) 광원을 더 포함하며,상기 광원은 원하는 이미지의 푸리에 변환이 상기 LCD 판(plate)에 생성되도록 동작하는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,광원을 구성하는 발광 다이오드 어레이를 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
- 제29항에서,상기 광원은 상기 기판의 에지를 통해 상기 기판에 결합되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 기판은 복수의 프리즘으로 이루어지는 광학 장치.

- 제1항에서,상기 부분 반사면들 사이에 에어 갭(air gap)을 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 기판의 표면 또는 에지의 일부는 반사면을 형성하기 위하여 광학 코팅으로 코팅되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 장치의 광 경로에 삽입되는 적어도 하나의 반파장판(half-wavelength plate)을 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 부분 반사면의 반사율이 프레넬 반사(Fresnel reflection)에 의해 달성되는 광학 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 광 전송 기판의 외부에 위치되는 적어도 두 개의 반사면으로 이루어지는 어레이를 더 포함하는 광학 장치.
