Claims (10)
- 기재 상에 경질 피복층을 구비하는 피복 절삭 공구로서, 상기 기재는 1종류 이상의 철족 금속을 포함하는 결합상과, 주기율표 IYa, Va, VIa족 원소의 탄화물, 질화물, 산화물 및 그들의 고용체로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1종류 이상의 물질을 포함하는 경질상으로 이루어지며, 상기 피복층 중, 날 선단 능선부 및 동일 능선부의 레이크 페이스면 측 경계부로부터 레이크 페이스면 측으로 적어도 200μm의 범위 및 동일 능선부의 릴리프면 측 경계부로부터 릴리프면 측으로 적어도 50μm의 범위가 실질적으로 표면 조도(Rmax) 0.2μm 이하(기준 길이 5μm으로 한다)의 평활면으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 기재의 릴리프면이 소결 표면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 경질 피복층이 주기율표 IVa, Va, VIa족, Al 및 Si로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 금속 원소의 탄화물, 질화물, 탄질화물, 붕화물, 산화물 및 그들 고용체로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1종류 이상의 물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 경질 피복층이 Ti(CwBxNy0z)(여기서 w+x+y+z=1, w, x, y,z≥0)의 적어도 1층 이상으로 이루어지는 내층과, 산화 알루미늄층으로 이루어지는 중간층 및 TiCxNy01-x-y혹은 ZrCxNy01-x-y(0≤x, y, x+y≤1)로 이루어지는 외층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 평활면이 산화 알루미늄층으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 평활면으로 이루어진 범위가 날 선단 능선부 및 동일 능선부의 레이크 페이스면 측 경계부로부터 레이크 페이스면 측으로 적어도 500μm의 범위 및 동일 능선부의 릴리프면 측 경계부로부터 릴리프면 측으로 적어도 200μm의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 4 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 내층이 기둥 형상 결정 조직을 갖는 2 내지 20μm의 막 두께의 탄질화 티타늄으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 경질 피복층 중, 기재와 접하는 최내층이 입자 형상 조직을 갖는 0.2 내지 3μm의 막 두께의 질화 티타늄인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 산화 알루미늄이 0.5 내지 15μm의 막 두께의 α형 산화 알루미늄으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 기재가 서멧으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
