Claims (4)
- 燃料タンクへの給油時に燃料液面が所定高さに達したときに燃料蒸気の排出口を閉じる満タン規制バルブと、前記燃料タンクの内部と該燃料タンクの外部に配設されたキャニスタとを連通させるエバポラインとを備えた燃料タンク装置の前記エバポラインに配置される過給油防止バルブであって、
前記燃料タンク側に連通する第1開口、前記キャニスタ側に連通する第2開口、前記第1開口に設けられた第1弁座、及び前記第2開口に設けられた第2弁座を有するバルブハウジングと、
前記バルブハウジングの内部空間にスライド可能に配置されて、前記第1弁座及び前記第2弁座に接離可能とされ、それ自体内部空間を有していて、該内部空間には、前記第1開口側に連通する基端開口と、前記第2開口側に連通する先端開口と、前記基端開口に設けられた第3弁座とが設けられた親バルブと、
前記親バルブを第1弁座に向けて付勢する第1付勢手段と、
前記親バルブの内部空間にスライド可能に配置されて、前記第3弁座に接離可能とされた子バルブと、
前記親バルブ内に配置されて、前記子バルブを前記第3弁座に向けて付勢する第2付勢手段と、
前記親バルブが前記第1弁座に当接したとき、前記親バルブと前記第1弁座との間に所定の通気路を形成する手段とを備え、
前記燃料タンク内の圧力により前記第1付勢手段の付勢力に抗して前記親バルブがスライドして前記第2弁座に当接したときの再開弁圧よりも、前記子バルブの前記第3弁座に対する開弁圧の方が高くなるように、前記第1付勢手段と前記第2付勢手段との付勢力が設定されていることを特徴とする過給油防止バルブ。 - 前記バルブハウジングは、第1開口を下方に、第2開口を上方に向けて配置され、前記第1付勢手段は、前記親バルブ及びそれに内蔵された子バルブの重力である、請求項1記載の過給油防止バルブ。
- 前記第1付勢手段は、スプリングからなり、前記親バルブの前記スプリングとの当接面に複数のリブが形成され、前記親バルブの前記スプリングとの間に前記リブ間を通る通気路が形成されている、請求項1記載の過給油防止バルブ。
- 前記親バルブの前記先端開口部の外周の、前記第2弁座の当接部分よりも外周に位置する部分に、前記先端開口部よりも小径の通気孔が形成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の過給油防止バルブ。
