Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、背もたれ部の左右両側に体側保持部
たる所謂サイドサポートを有する座席における前
記体側保持部の改良に関するものであり、部品数
の少ない簡単な機構で、ガタつきなしに左右の体
側保持部を、着席者の体格に合せてその間隔を広
狭に円滑に調節しうる装置を提供することを目的
としている。
既に、背もたれ部の左右両側の体側保持部を、
互の間隔を広狭に調節しうるようにした座席は提
案されているが、リンク、作動杆、連動ピン等の
構成部品が多く、しかもロストモーシヨン機構を
採用しているため結合部にガタが発生しやすく、
微細な調節を行ない難い欠点があつた。
本考案は、実用新案登録請求の範囲に記載する
構成とすることにより、上述のごとき欠点のない
座席背もたれ部の体側保持装置を得たものであ
る。
以下、図示例についてその構成を説明する。
第１図において座席１の背もたれ部２の左右両
側に、所謂サイドサポートたる体側保持部３，４
が設けられており、この体側保持部３，４は互の
間隔を広狭に調節するため、双矢印イ，ロで示す
方向に揺動しうるように構成されている。
第２図、第３図および第４図は、前記のように
体側保持部３，４を双矢印イ，ロ方向に揺動させ
る機構を示しており、背もたれフレーム５の左右
両側に、ブラケツト６，７，８，９を介して作動
軸１０，１１が回動自在に縦設されている。一方
の作動軸１０には揺動腕１２が固定され、その先
端にナツト１３が回転自在に支着されている。
他方、背もたれフレーム５には、薄肉のブラケ
ツト１４を介し、ねじ軸１５が軸基部の薄肉のフ
ランジ部３１において片持ち支持で回転自在に軸
支され、背もたれ２の幅方向に、即ち作動軸１０
と直交する方向に延出されている。このねじ軸１
５のネジ部１６は、前記ナツト１３の螺孔に螺合
されている。このため、ねじ軸１５の正逆回転に
つれ、ナツト１３はねじ軸１５の軸方向に前後進
し、ねじ軸１５は、薄肉フランジ３１と薄肉のブ
ラケツト１４との両者の僅かな弾性変形と、両者
の軸支部のクリアランスとにより僅かに揺動する
ので、このナツト１３の移動により、揺動腕１２
は双矢印ハ方向に揺動し、この揺動に伴ない、作
動軸１０も双矢印ハ方向に、即ち背もたれ部２の
幅方向に正逆に回動される。上述のねじ軸１５の
僅かな揺動を許容するため、図示例では、第２図
に符号３２で示されるように、作動軸１０側のブ
ラケツト１４の軸支部に欠肉部が形成されてい
る。
作動軸１０にはリンク１７が固着され、他方の
作動軸１１には、リンク１７と対称方向に延出す
るリンク１８が固着され、両リンク端が連結杆１
９で連結されている。このため、作動軸１０の前
記双矢印ハ方向の正逆回動は、対称方向の逆正回
動として作動軸１１に伝達される。
なお、リンク１７，１８が等しくされているの
で両作動軸１０，１１の回転角は等しくなる。
前述の作動軸１０，１１は取付具２０，２１，
２２，２３により、それぞれ左右の体側保持部
３，４のフレーム２４，２５に固着され、作動軸
１０，１１の前記双矢印ハ方向の正逆回動によ
り、体側保持部３，４も双矢印ハ方向に揺動され
ることとなる。
前述のねじ軸１５の端部２６は、背もたれ部２
の外側部２７に延出され、この部分にハンドル２
８が取り付けられている。
なお、第２図、第３図および第４図中、符号２
９，３０はナツト１３の移動範囲を制限するスト
ツパーである。
本考案に係る体側保持装置は以上説明した構成
のものであつて、着席者がハンドル２８を回転さ
せることにより、その回転に応じて体側保持部
３，４は、互の間隔を広或は狭に変化させうるの
で、着席者は好みの体側保持状態を容易に得られ
るものである。
本考案は以上の如き構成、作用のものであり、
２本の作動軸と１個の揺動腕と、ナツトと、ナツ
トと螺合するねじ部を有するねじ軸とハンドル
と、２本の作動軸を連結する２個のリンクと１本
の連結杆を備えるのみで、体側保持部３，４の間
隔を広狭に調節しうるので、部品数の少ない簡単
な機構とすることができる効果がある。
また、ねじ軸によりナツトを螺動させ、作動軸
を回動させる機構であり、リンク、作動杆、連結
ピン等のガタ発生の可能性のある伝動部が少な
く、またローストモーシヨン機構は全く無いの
で、ガタの発生しない円滑な操作と作動を長期に
亘つて保証しうる効果がある。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 背もたれ部の左右両側に体側保持部が背もたれ
    の幅方向に揺動しうるよう設けられている座席に
    おいて、背もたれのフレームの左右両側に、それ
    ぞれ作動軸が回動自在に縦設され、一方の作動軸
    に固定された揺動腕にナツトが回転自在に支着さ
    れており、他方、軸基部の薄肉フランジ部を、背
    もたれのフレームの薄肉のブラケツトに片持ち支
    持で回転自在に軸支されたねじ軸が背もたれの幅
    方向に延出され、そのねじ部が前記ナツトの螺孔
    に螺合されており、ねじ軸の正逆回転につれ、前
    記揺動腕とこれを固定している作動軸とが一体と
    なつて背もたれの幅方向に揺動しうるように構成
    されており、前記一方の作動軸は、リンクと連結
    杆とを介し、他方の作動軸に該軸を対称方向に揺
    動させるよう連動連結されていると共に、前記両
    作動軸はそれぞれ体側保持部のフレームに固着さ
    れており、前記ねじ軸には背もたれ外側部に位置
    するハンドルが設けられていることを特徴とする
    座席背もたれ部の体側保持装置。
