Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は、通信端末装置に関し、特に１回線に対して選
択信号を自動的に送出できる機能を有する通信端末装置
に関するものである。
［従来の技術］ 従来、この種のオート・ダイヤル機能を有するファクシ
ミリ装置においては、頻繁に通信する相手先の電話番号
の選択を容易にするために、以下のような手段が採用さ
れていた。すなわち、不揮発性ＲＡＭ　　（バッテリー
によりバックアップされたＲＡＭを含む）等に所定数の
相手先電話番号をあらかじめ登録しておき、操作者のキ
ー・スイッチ操作によるワンタッチ選択、または短縮モ
ードを示すキー・スイッチとそれに続く数字キー等によ
る短縮選択によって、相手先の選択信号を送出して相手
とのｖｃ統完了後にファクシミリ通信のモードへ移行さ
せていた。
このため、ひとつの相手先電話番号に対応して必ずひと
つのワンタッチ・キーまたは短縮番号等を割り付けてお
かなければならないので、多数の相手先電話番号を選択
するものにあっては、キーの個数が相手先電話番号に応
じて膨大になって操作パネルが大型化するという問題点
があった。さらに、ファクシミリ以外の相手先電話番号
をワンタッチまたは短縮選択したい場合にも、不用意に
ファクシミリ通信モードへ移行してしまうという欠点が
あった。
［目的］ 本発明の目的は、上述従来例の欠点を除去するとともに
、通信データの有無の状態に応じて通信先を選択できる
ようにし、装置の小型化および操作性の向」二を図った
通信端末装置を提供することにある。
［実施例］ 以下、図面を参照して本発明ゴ★施例を詳細に説明する
。
第１図は本発明の一実施例であるファクシミリ装置のブ
ロック図を示す。
図において、１は後述する各構成要素を制御するシステ
ム制御部である。このシステム制御部１は、例えばマイ
クロコンピュータや記憶回路などから構成するとともに
、第２図に示すような制御手順をあらかじめ格納させた
リードオンリメモリ（ＲＯＭ）　ＩＡを含むものとする
。
２は原稿搬送ローラ３によって搬送された送信原稿１１
を読み取るＣＣＤイメージセンサなどから構成する読取
部である。送信原稿１１は、原稿有無センサ１０によっ
て後述のように所定のタイミングで検知される。
３は受信した画信号に応じた画像を記、録紙に例えば静
電記録させる記録部である。４は各種の操作キーを配置
させた操作部であり、この操作部４に本発明にかかる選
択スイッチ４Ａを配置する。５は状態表示やアラーム表
示などを表示する表示部である。
６は相手先の電話番号−を後述のように登録させておく
不揮発性ＲＡＭである。このＲＡＭ　８としては、バッ
テリーによって、・ヘッダされるランダムアクセスメモ
リであってもよい、また、７はモデム（変復調装置）で
ある。
８は選択信号（パルスおよびトーンダイアラ−）を送出
する濠力を有するＮＧＵ　（網制御装置）であり、呼び
出し音検出による自動着信動作および回線制御動作を行
うのみならず、システム制御部１の制御によって電話回
線１２に対して選択信号の送出動作を行う。
次に、本実施例の動作例を第２図のフローチャートを参
照して説明する。なお、不揮発性ＲＡＭ　８には、操作
部４上の選択スイッチ４Ａに対応させて一般電話用の相
手先電話番号“Ｘ″と、ファクシミリの接続されたとき
の相手先電話番号“Ｙ”との２つをあらかじめ割り当て
て登録しておくものとする。
まず、ステップＳ１において操作部４に配こされた選択
スイッチ４Ａが押下されたか否か判定し、それが押下さ
れたときに′は次のステップＳ２に進み、システム制御
部１は、原稿有無センサ１０の出力に応じて送信原稿１
１の有無を判定する。ステー・プＳ２で送信原稿１１が
ありとＩ定されると次のステップＳ３に進み、不揮発性
ＲＡＮ　６からファクシミリ用相手先電話番号″Ｙ”を
読み出し、その電話番号の選択信号をＮＧＵ８から電話
回線１２に送出する。そして１次のステップＳ４で相手
との電話回線の接続が完了したか否かを判定し、その接
続が完了したときには動作モードがファクシミリ送信モ
ードとなって所定の送信動作な行う。
一方、送信原稿１１が原稿有無センサ１０によって検知
されなかったときにはステップＳ５に進み、不揮発性Ｒ
ＡＮＧから一般電話用相手先電話番号“Ｘ″を読み出し
、その電話番″−）の選択信号を電話回線１２に送出し
、その後、動作モードが通常電話モードとなってスピー
カ算から相手の応答を可聴表示するいわゆるオンツー・
クダイヤル動作を行う。
このように本実施例によれば、相ｆΔ−ど准話？１時の
割り当て数に比して選択キー・ブイ・、Ｆ配ご個数を大
幅に減少でき、１７かも相手先が電話の場合にファクシ
ミリの場合とをユーザが送信原稿の有無に応１゛て使い
分ける事が可１「になる。
なお、本実施例では、ワンター、チ選択キー・スイッチ
に対応させて不揮発性ＲＡＭに複数の相手先電話番号を
あらかじめ登録させておく場合について述べたが、これ
に代えて、いわゆる短縮選択の場合には、送信原稿の有
無に応じて２ケ所の電話番号を１つの短縮番号にあらか
じめ割り当てて不揮発性ＲＡＭにあらかじめ登録するよ
うにしてもよい。
また、本実施例では送信原稿有りの場合に自動的にファ
クシミリ送信モードに移行する場合について述べたが、
送信原稿有りの場合にも通常の電話モードとし、相手と
の接続をオペレータが確認後、ファクシミリが接続され
ているときにあらためて送信スタートのキー操作を行う
ようにしてもよい、この場合、２ケ所とも通常の電話番
号とすることも可能となる。
また、本実施例は、メモリ等に通信先に送信すべき送信
データが記憶されているかどうかにより、ワンタッチキ
ー、短縮ダイヤルによる通信先の電話番号の発信動作を
、異なる様に構成することも可ｆ艶である。
また、本実施例は、ファクシミリ装置に限らず自動発信
機能（オートダイヤル）付きの通信装置にはすべて実施
することができる。
［発明の効果］ 以上説明したように、本発明によれば、通信ブタの有無
の状態に応じて通信先を選択できるようにしたので、操
作部の選択キー−スイッチの配置個数を少なくすること
ができるとともに、通信データの有争無という簡単な判
別によって通信装置を有効に使用することができる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 回線に対して通信先の選択信号を自動的に送出する選択
    信号送出手段を有する通信端末装置において、 通信先への通信データの有無を検出する検出手段を有し
    、 前記検出手段で検出される通信データの有無によって前
    記選択信号送出手段により送出する通信先の選択信号を
    異ならせることを特徴とする通信端末装置。
