Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はリミット機能を備えたスロットマシンに関し、
特に無作為に出現する入賞が時間的にかたよることなく
、入賞確率をほぼ均等に維持する機能をもったスロット
マシンに関するものである。
一般にスロットマシンは、並設されて高速回転される複
数個のリールを自動停止あるいけリール毎に設けられた
ストップボタンの操作により全リールを停止させ停止時
の絵柄の組み合わせにより入賞判定がなされ、入貢に応
じたメダルの払い出し２がなされる。
このようなスロットマシンでは、それぞれのリールに配
列されている絵柄の個数から絵柄の全組み合わせ数が決
められ、それに対して入賞絵柄の組み合わせを設定する
ことにより入賞発生の確率が決まることになる。また最
近のスロットマシンのようにパルスモータによりリール
を回転させ、このパルスモータにマイクロコンピュータ
をｍみ合わせて乱数発生器からの乱数値制御によって入
賞の管制を行なうものもある。
しかしながらいずれにせよ従来のスロットマシンにおい
てはリールの回転は絵柄の識別が不可能なほどに高速で
あるためその停止がストップボタンの操作で行なわれる
にせよ入賞の発生は全く無作為なものであり、また乱数
値制御のものにあっても入賞発生は全くの偶然性に支配
されてｂる。
従ってもともと予定されている入賞発生確率に対し、実
際の入賞が全くの偶然で生ずるということは、それが時
間的にかたよる可能性も充分にあり得ることを意味して
ｂる。すなわち、予め設定されてｂる入鍵確率に対し全
くの無作為で入賞が発生すると、ある一定期間に入賞が
集中的に出現してしまｂｌそれに続くある期間中はほと
んど入賞が得られなくなってしまうことがある。このた
めある遊戯者にとっては入賞が極めて低い確率でしか得
られなくなり、ゲームの興味が削がれることにもなりか
ねない。
本発明は上述の問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、入賞が
時間的にかたよることなく、入賞発生がある期間毎に均
等化されるようにしたスロットマシンを捺供することを
目的とする。このような本発明スロットマシンハ、マイ
クロコンピュータノ管制のもとに、ゲーム実行回数と入
賞発生の回数を積算し７で記憶するそれぞ九の記憶手段
を設け、所定ゲーム回数毎に積算された入賞発生回数を
予め設定された標準入賞回数とを比較し、この比較出力
により入賞の出現を調整できるようにしたことを特徴と
するものである。
以下、本発明を添付図面の一実施例に基づいて説明する
。
第１図は本発明の構成図であって、スロットマシンの側
部に設けられた操作ノンドル１を手前に引くことによっ
てスタートスイッチ２がＯＮＩ、、リール３ないし５が
同時に回転してゲームが開始される。
マイクロコンピュータ（メインコントローラ）３０　ｕ
、前記スタートスイッチ２のＯＮによりゲームプログラ
ムが実行され、モータ制御回路１２ないし１４にパルス
を供給する。これにより、パルスモータ１６ないし１８
は回転を開始する。一方、モータ制御回路１２ないし１
４に供給されたパルス信号は、マイクロコンピュータ３
０自身によって、ソフト的に積算され、その値がリール
毎に記憶される。このパルスの積算値によって、リール
の回転位置を検出するものであるから、リールの１回転
毎にリセットする必要があり、そのために各リール３な
いし５の一部に遮光片３ａないし５ａがそれぞれ設けら
れており、この遮光片３ａなＩｙｚ　シ５　ａがホトイ
ンタラプタ１９なりし２１で検出され、この検知信号が
マイクロコンピュータ３０に送られた際にパルスの積算
値が零にクリアされる。
各リール３なｌ、−ｘＬ５が定速回転に達してからは、
スロットマシンの前面部に設けられたストップスイッチ
６なりし８を押せば、ストップ信号がそれぞれの抑圧検
知回路９ないし１１を介してマイクロコンピュータ３０
に入力される。
そしてこれらのストップスイッチ６ないし８に対応１．
たモータ制御回路１２なｈし１４にパルスが送られなく
なり、パルスモータ１６ないし１８が選択的に停止する
。
ストップスイッチ６ないし８を押して、各り一部３ない
し５を停止させた際に、所定の入賞ラインに並んだ３個
の絵柄の組合せがマイクロコンピュータ３０で判定され
、その組合せに応じた枚数のメダルが図示せぬホッパー
装置から排出される。
　５− 以上の構成がマイクロコンピュータを用いたスロットマ
シンの機能部の説明である。以下、本発明の主要な構成
である入賞率のリミット機能について説明する。
すなわち、前Ｕ己マイクロコンピュータ３０はゲームが
１同突行される毎にゲーム数カウンタ５０にアップ信号
を出力してゲーム数カウンタ５０はこれを積算記憶し、
また前記判定による入賞の度毎に入賞カウンタ５１にア
ップ信号を出力して入賞カウンタ５１はこれを積算記憶
する。
前記ゲーム数カウンタ５０に積算記憶されたカウント値
は、設定手段５２のリミット値すなわち何ゲームお六に
入賞のカウント値をチェックするか’ｃ示す数とコンパ
レータ５３において比較され、これらの値が一致した時
にコンパレータ５５を作動させる。
またこの信号はゲーム数カウンタ５０をリセリトン、か
つコンパレータ５５の処理終了分の遅延回路５６を介し
て入賞カウンタ５１ｔ＝リセツトする。
６一 このコンバレ〜り５５の作動は、入賞カウンタ５１に積
算記憶されたカウント値（リミット領内での入賞回数）
と標準入賞回数が設定された設定手段５４の値と比較し
、その大小信号をマイクロコンピュータ３０に出力する
。この信号を受けたマイクロコンピュータ３０ば、次回
以降のゲーム処理におりてパルスモータ１６ないり、１
８へのパルス数の制御によって”入賞→はずれ”あるい
ははずれ→入賞”の制御を行なう。
以下、これらの処理を第２図に示すフローチャートにし
たがって説明する。ゲームが開始されると、後述する入
賞フラグおよびはずれフラグをチェックし、入賞フラグ
がセットされている場合本来ではストップのタイミング
が悪因ためにはずれになるケースでもこれを極力入賞さ
せるような制御、あるいははずれフラグがセットされて
ｂる場合にはリールストップのタイミングが良いため入
賞となるようなケースでもこれをはずれにする制御を行
なう。表示窓に現われている絵柄が入賞した配列になっ
ているかを判断し、フラグに応じてパルスモータの停市
時期を遅らせてリールの停止位置をずらすことにより簡
単に行なうことができる。この処理によって制御された
場合にはフラグはリセットされる。なお、リールの停止
位置を大きくずらして入賞させた場合には、プレイヤが
気が付いてｔ、、−ｔうから、ずらす絵柄は１つもしく
は２つ程度とすることが好まし、い。これによっても当
りとならない場合は、セットしたまま次のゲームに持ち
越すものである。
ゲーム終了時には常にゲーム斂カウンタをアップ［７、
入賞の場合は入賞カウンタをアップする。
この後に、ゲーム数カウンタとｊｌミツト値との比較を
行ない、一致した場合に入賞カウンタと標準入賞数とを
比較する。
その際に、 （１）入賞数カウンタ〉標準入賞数→はずれフラグをセ
ット （２）入賞数カウンター標準入賞数→何もＬ−ない（３
）入賞数カウンタ〈標準入賞数→入賞フラグ全セット の処理を行なう。そして、入賞カウンタと標準入賞数が
等ｊ、ぐなるまで各フラグをセットするが、実際には、
フラグのセットはｌな込し２回することが好まし込。
この処理が終予した時点で、前記各カウンタはリセット
され、新たなプロセスが始まる。
以上の処理によって、設定されたリミット値（一定数の
ゲーム回数）に対しての入賞の回数は設定された標準入
賞回数に管制され、はぼ均等に入賞が出現するようにな
る。
こ＼で通常のスロットマシンにおいては、各種の当り役
があるため入賞のコードが多数存在する。
この場合には第１図に示す構成要素５０ないし５６を前
記入賞コードの数だけ設けることによって解決すること
ができる。またこの場合には第２図に示す各々の判断は
前記入賞コードの数だけ繰返すことになる。さらに入賞
をコード別ではなく、何種類かの入賞をブロック化して
１つのカウンタによる処理によって機構を軽減すること
も可能である。
９− なお、上述の実施例において用いられているゲーム数カ
ウンタ５０に代え、ゲーム毎に投入されるメダルの枚数
を積算記憶するメダル数カウンタを用いて、こ＼から得
られるメダル枚数カウント値をゲーム数カウント値とし
てもよい。この変形実施例によれば、スロットマシン表
示窓にそれぞり、のリール毎に３個づつの絵柄が現れ、
横３列さらには斜２列など入賞ラインが複数設定可能で
、投入メダル枚数に応じて有効な入賞ライン数が増加ス
ルタイプのスロットマシンにおいては、投入メダル枚数
が複数の場合、これを複数回のゲームの実行がなされた
ものとして判定することになるので、設定手段５２のリ
ミット値は有効に生かされることになる。この場合、当
然入賞判定は有効化された入賞ライン全てに関して行な
われることはもとより、複数の入賞が生じた際には入賞
カウンタ５１にはそれに応じた個数のアップ信号が出力
されることになる。
以上説明したように、本発明のスロットマシ・ンによれ
ば、ゲーム毎にゲーム回数と入賞回数を記ｌＯ− 憶しておき、所定ゲーム回数毎に入賞回数をチェックし
、入賞予測回数よりも大ならば入賞をはずし、小ならば
はずれを入賞させる制御を実行させるものであるから、
入賞の発生が全くの無作為に基ぐ従来装置と比較して、
その発生が平均化されることになり、遊戯者にゲームの
興味を持続させるうえで非常に効果的である。また入賞
の発生率は、リミット値あるいは標準入賞回数の設定手
段の簡単な調整で変更することもでき、安定した稼働が
実現できることになる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）実行されるゲーム回数を積算記憶する手段と、入
    賞回数を積算記憶する手段と、前記記憶されたゲーム回
    数が所定数に達する毎にあらかじめ設定された標準入賞
    回数と前記記憶された入賞回数とを比較する手段と、こ
    の比較手段の出力に応じて前記記憶された入賞回数が前
    記標準入賞回数より大なるときは入賞確率を低減させ、
    小なるときけ入賞確率を高めるように入賞の確率を制御
    する手段とを設けたことを特徴とするスロットマシン。
