Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.情報を複数のタイムスロットにグループ分けする工程と、 前記タイムスロットを複数のスーパーフレームにグループ分けする工程と、 前記スーパーフレームを複数のページングフレームにグループ分けする工程と 、 リモート(遠隔)局を前記ページングフレームの各々における前記タイムスロ ットの1つに割り当て、割り当てられたスロットが前記リモート局のページング に使用されるように割り当てる工程と、 前記割り当てスロットにおける前記リモート局にページングフレーム内の変更 の表示を送る工程とを備えた、リモート局へ情報を伝送するための方法。 2.通信システムからの登録番号をリモート局へ送る工程と、 前記リモート局において受信した登録番号とメモリに記憶された登録番号のリ ストとを比較する工程と、 前記リスト内に登録番号が見いだされた場合、前記リモート局から前記通信シ ステムにこの登録番号を送る工程と、 前記通信システムから前記リモート局へ登録番号のリストを送る工程と、 前記リモート局に記憶されている登録番号のリストを前記通信システムから受 信した登録番号のリストに置換する工程とを備えた、通信システムによってリモ ート局を登録する方法。 3.各々に識別番号が割り当てられるリモート局の登録を通信システムにより 確認するための方法において、 前記リモート局から送られた複数の登録メッセージを受信する工程と、 前記少なくとも2つのリモート局の識別番号を含む確認メッセージを前記リモ ート局のうちの少なくとも2つに送信する工程とを備えた、登録確認方法。 4.情報を複数の繰り返しタイムスロットにグループ分けする工程と、 前記タイムスロットを複数のスーパーフレームにグループ分けする工程と、 前記スーパーフレーム内の前記タイムスロットを複数の論理チャンネルに割り 当てる工程と、 前記論理チャンネルのうちの少なくとも1つで送信されるメッセージの繰り返 しレートを変える工程とを備えた、リモート局へ情報を伝送するための方法。 5.複数の通信システムのうちの1つで利用できるサービスをリモート局に対 して識別するための方法において、前記システムの各々にオペレータコードを割 り当てる工程と、 前記オペレータコードの各々に関連したサービスのリストを前記リモート局に 記憶する工程と、 オペレータコードのリクエストを前記リモート局から送る工程と、 前記システムのうちの1つから前記リモート局にオペレータコードを送る工程 とを備えた、サービス識別方法。 6.情報を複数のタイムスロットにグループ分けする工程と、 前記タイムスロットを複数のスーパーフレームにグループ分けする工程と、 前記リモート局が各スーパーフレームのスタートを識別できるように、前記ス ーパーフレームの各々における各スロットにおいて、スーパーフレーム位相情報 を送る工程とを備えた、リモート局に情報を伝送するための方法。 7.通信システムからリモート局へのメッセージの送信を統括するための方法 において、 各メッセージをレイヤー2(L2)フレームにセグメント化する工程と、 第1チャンネルを通して前記システムから前記リモート局へ前記フレームを送 る工程と、 第2チャンネルを通して前記システムから前記リモート局へ前記リモート局の 識別表示を送る工程と、 前記識別表示が前記リモート局に記憶されていた識別表示と一致する場合、第 3チャンネルを通して前記リモート局から前記システムに前記フレームの各々が 正しく受信されたかどうかの表示を送る工程とを備えた、メッセージの送信を統 括するための方法。 8.通信システムによりリモート局を登録する方法において、 前記通信システムから前記リモート局へ隣接セル内の通信チャンネルのリスト 、対応するセルの各々で登録が必要であるかどうかの表示、および各セルに対す る信号強度のヒステリシスの表示を含むメッセージを送る工程と、 対応するセルで登録が必要な場合、前記チャンネルのうちの1つを選択するた めに前記信号強度のヒステリシスを使用する工程とを備えた、リモート局を登録 するための方法。 9.セルラー通信システムにおいて移動局を登録するための方法において、 前記セルラー通信システム内の複数のデジタル制御チャンネルの各々で異なる 登録番号を放送する工程と、 移動局によって使用される前記デジタル制御チャンネルのうちの1つで放送さ れる前記異なる登録番号のうちの1つと、前記移動局に記憶された登録番号のリ ストとを比較する工程と、 前記比較工程の結果に基づいて前記通信システムにより前記移動局を登録する 工程とを備えた、移動局を登録するための方法。 10.前記登録工程は、前記比較工程で、前記異なる登録番号のうちの前記1つ と登録番号の前記リストとが一致しないことが表示された場合に前記移動局を登 録する工程を更に含む、請求項9記載の方法。 11.制御チャンネルに関連する登録番号を含む統括メッセージを制御チャンネ ルを通して受信するための受信機と、 登録番号のリストを記憶するためのメモリと、 前記制御チャンネルに関連した前記登録番号と、登録番号の前記リストとを比 較するためのプロセッサとを備えた移動局。 12.前記プロセッサにおける前記比較の結果に基づき、登録メッセージを送信 するための送信機を更に備えた、請求項11記載の移動局。 13.ベース局からベース局メーカーコードを放送(一斉送信)する工程と、 移動局において前記ベース局コードを受信する工程を備えた無線通信システム において、ベース局のタイプを識別するための方法。 14.移動局からベース局の識別コードをリクエストする工程と、 前記リクエストに応答してベース局から前記ベース局識別コードを送信する工 程とを備えた、無線通信システムにおけるベース局のタイプを識別するための方 法。 15.無線通信システムにおいて、システムオペレータを識別するための方法で あって、 各々の異なるシステムオペレータを識別するシステム運用コードを割り当てる 工程と、 ベース局に関連するシステムオペレータコードをベース局から放送する工程と 、 移動局において前記システムオペレータコードを受信する工程とを備えた、シ ステムオペレータを識別するための方法。 16.無線通信システムにおいて、システムオペレータを識別する方法であって 、 移動局からシステムオペレータコードをリクエストする工程と、 前記リクエストに応答してベース局から前記システムオペレータコードを送信 する工程とを備えた、システムオペレータを識別するための方法。 17.無線インターフェースを通してベース局の識別コードのリクエストを受信 するための手段と、 前記リクエストに応答して前記ベース局の識別コードを送信するための手段と を備えたベース局。 18.無線通信システムにおいて、プライベートサブシステムを識別するための 方法であって、 前記無線通信システムにおける各プライベートサブシステムに対し、識別コー ドを割り当てる工程と、 ベース局によりサービスされる各プライベートサブシステムに対する前記識別 コードをベース局から送信する工程とを備えた、プライベートサブシステムを識 別するための方法。 19.無線通信システムにおいて、アクセス特権を証明するための方法であって 、 前記無線通信システムにおいて各プライベートサブシステムに対し識別コード を割り当てる工程と、 前記システムのオペレータを識別するシステムオペレータコードを割り当てる 工程と、 前記システムに関連するカントリーを識別する移動カントリーコードを割り当 てる工程と、 前記システム内のベース局から前記識別コード、システムオペレータコードお よび前記移動カントリーコードを送信する工程と、 前記送信を受信するリモート局において、前記識別コード、システムオペレー タコードおよび前記移動カントリーコードを使用して、前記ベース局に対するア クセス権を証明する工程とを備えた、アクセス特権を検証するための方法。 20.無線通信ネットワーク内の制御チャンネルを選択するための方法であって 、 リモート局による潜在的選択のために候補セルのランク付されたリストを発生 するための工程と、 所望のサービスを提供する候補セルが識別されるまで前記ランク付されたリス トを評価する工程と、 前記制御チャンネルの質の基準が所定の第1スレッショルドよりも低くなけれ ば、前記識別された候補セルに関連する制御チャンネルを選択する工程とを備え た、制御チャンネルを選択するための方法。 21.前記所望のサービスを提供する候補セルに対する前記所定の第1スレッシ ョルドは、前記所望のサービスを提供しない候補セルに対する所定の第2スレッ ショルドよりも、あるオフセット値だけ低い、請求項20記載の方法。 22.無線通信システムにおいて、目的とする再試行を可能とするための方法で あって、 ベース局から再選択するための候補制御チャンネルを識別する隣接リストを送 信する工程と、 前記隣接リストへの各入力に対し、その入力に関連するセルで目的とする再試 行を実行できるかどうかを表示する属性を含む工程とを備えた、再試行を可能と する方法。 23.再選択のための候補制御チャンネルを識別する隣接リストを送信するため の送信機と、 前記隣接リストへの各入力に対し、その入力に関連するセルで目的とする再試 行を実行できるかどうかを表示する属性を含むためのプロセッサとを備えたベー ス局。 24.再選択のための候補制御チャンネルを識別する隣接リストを受信するため の受信機と、 前記隣接リスト内に見つけられる各候補制御チャンネルに関連した属性に基づ き、前記候補制御チャンネルに関連したセルのための目的とする再試行を可能と するためのプロセッサとを備えた移動局。 25.前記ベース局によってサービスされるプライベートサブシステムを識別す るプロセッサと、 前記プロセッサにより識別される前記プライベートサブシステムのうちの少な くとも1つのための識別コードを送信するための送信機とを備えたベース局。 26.再選択のための候補セルに関し、無線通信システム内のリモート局に通知 するための方法であって、 少なくとも1つの制御チャンネルを識別する隣接セルリストをベース局から送 信する工程と、 関連するセルが前記リモート局に現在サービスしているセルと同期しているか どうかを表示する前記少なくとも1つの制御チャンネルの各々に対して関連する 属性を含む工程と、 前記リモート局において前記隣接セルリストを受信する工程とを備えた通知方 法。 27.制御チャンネルのリストを送信するための送信機と、 前記制御チャンネルがサービス中の制御チャンネルに対して同期しているかど うかを表示する、前記制御チャンネルに関連した属性を前記リスト内に含むプロ セッサとを備えたベース局。 28.少なくとも1つの制御チャンネルを含むリストを無線インターフェースを 通して受信するための受信機と、 前記リストに見いだされる属性に基づき、前記少なくとも1つの制御チャンネ ルが前記移動局にサービスしている制御チャンネルに同期するかどうかを判断す るプロセッサとを備えた移動局。 29.前記少なくとも1つの制御チャンネルのうちのタイムスロットが前記サー ビス中の制御チャンネルのタイムスロットに同期するかどうかを前記属性が表示 する、請求項28記載の方法。 30.前記少なくとも1つの制御チャンネルのうちのスーパーフレームが前記サ ービス中の制御チャンネルのスーパーフレームに同期するかどうかを前記属性が 表示する、請求項28記載の方法。
