Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本発明は家具、自動車などの座席におけるその
表面を構成する表皮部材、詳しくは表面に装飾的
効果を付与するために、表面に、この表面と別異
の色彩などを施した帯状の模様片を設けた表皮部
材に関するものである。
（従来の技術） 座席の表面を構成する表皮部材の表面に、スラ
イプ状などに帯状模様片を設けると、表皮部材の
美感が向上するため、これを使用した座席はその
商品価値が増大する。
ところで、斯様に表皮部材の表面に模様片を、
工業的に設けるには、第１図Ａ，Ｂ乃至第３図
Ａ，Ｂに示す方法で行なつている。
即ち、例えば表皮ａの表面略全体に、Ｕ字状の
模様片を設ける部分には第１図Ａ，Ｂに示すよう
に、まず、表皮ａの上に、略表皮ａと同じ大きさ
の模様形成用の生地（熱可塑性合成樹脂材）ｂを
積層し、これを下型１上に載置して、Ｕ字状の上
型２で加圧し乍ら高周波を印荷する。
すると、第２図Ａ，Ｂに示すように上型２で加
圧した部分が表皮ａに一体に融着して融着部ｂ１
を形成し、他の部分ｂ２，ｂ２……は表皮ａに融
着しない。従つて、この融着しない部分ｂ２……
の一端を摘み引き剥くと、融着しない部分ｂ２が
取り除かれて融着部ｂ１が残るため、第３図Ａ，
Ｂに示すように表皮ａ上に、融着部ｂ１が模様と
して形成される。
従つて、以上の模様を有する表皮は、前記融着
しない部分が無駄になるため、材料の歩留が悪
く、しかも、融着しない部分を引く剥くため、融
着部ｂ１の端面が美しく仕上がらないし、また、
引き剥く際に誤つて融着部ｂ１が剥離される虞れ
があつた。
（目的） 本発明は前記従来における表皮上に模様形成用
の生地を積層し、これを高周波によつて模様形成
用の生地の一部を融着することによる不具合を除
去することを目的とするものである。
（構成） 以上の目的を達成するため、本発明の要旨とす
るところは、本体の表面に、熱可塑性合成樹脂材
からなるチユーブ状の模様体を加熱加圧して一体
に融着し、本体の表面に前記模様体を平帯状に圧
潰した装飾模様を形成することを特徴とするもの
であり、前記模様体はチユーブ状に形成されてい
るため、模様体の屈曲性が良く本体の表面に、Ｕ
字状等に屈曲させて融着でき、しかも、チユーブ
状に模様体が形成されているため、融着した際に
美感が損なわれる皺などが発生しない。
（実施例） 以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。
第４図、第５図は本発明品を示し、図中ａは表
皮部材の本体を示し、図示する本体ａは熱可塑性
合成樹脂材（例えばＰ、Ｖ、Ｃ、ポリエステル、
ポリプロピレンなど）からなる一枚状の生地から
構成されているが、表皮と発泡体製ワデイング、
ワデイングカバーの三層構造からなるものを使用
するも任意である。
この本体ａの表面には装飾用模様体ｃがＵ字状
に高周波で融着されている。
この装飾用模様体ｃは第６図乃至第８図に示す
方法で本体ａの表面に融着される。
即ち、高周波融着機の下型１０は第６図に示す
ように、Ｕ字状にガイド部材１０ａ，１０ｂによ
つて案内溝１１を形成し、この案内溝１１内に融
着用の電極１０ｃが昇降可能に設けてあり、この
電極１２ｃを下降させた状態で、チユーブ状の模
様体ｃ１を案内溝１１内に装入する。模様体ｃ１
は高周波融着により前記本体ａの表面に融着され
るＰ、Ｖ、Ｃ、などの柔軟性を有する熱可塑性合
成樹脂材で、円筒状に形成され、前記本体ａの表
面の着色とは異色に着色されている。
以上の模様体ｃ１を下型１０の案内溝１１に装
入後、その下型１０上に本体ａをその表面側を下
型１０側に向けて載置する（第７図）。図中１２
は上型を示す。
次に上型１２を下降させて本体ａ上に接合させ
た後、下型１０の電極１０ｃを上昇させて、模様
体ｃ１を本体ａの表面に加圧して圧潰し、高周波
を印荷すると（第８図）、前記第４図、第５図に
示すように、チユーブ状の模様体ｃ１が平帯状に
圧潰されて本体ａの表面に融着され装飾用模様ｃ
が形成される。
（効果） 本発明によれば、チユーブ状の模様体を本体に
融着するため、本体にＵ字状などの曲線模様を形
成する際、模様体が容易に、しかも皺などが生じ
ることなく屈曲し所定形状の曲線模様を形成でき
る。
また、前記従来品の如く非融着部を除去する必
要がないため、材料の歩留が良いし、本体の外観
も損なわれない。

る断面図及びその部分拡大断面図、第６図は本発
明に使用する型の斜視図、第７図は融着前の状態
の断面図、第８図は融着後の状態の断面図であ
る。 図中、ａは本体、ｃ１はチユーブ状の模様体を
夫々示す。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 本体の表面に、熱可塑性合成樹脂材からなる
    チユーブ状の模様体を加熱加圧して一体に融着
    し、本体の表面に前記模様体を平帯状に圧潰した
    装飾模様を形成することを特徴とする座席の表皮
    部材。
