Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 技術分野 本発明は表示手段を設けたフアクシミリ装置に
関するものである。
従来技術 従来のこの種の装置において、表示器が付いて
いるものは、通信中の表示が単に通信相手に拘わ
りのない固定した内容を表示するものであり、例
えば通信モードとして「G3」などと表示するの
みであつた。
このため、表示器による情報の提供は不十分で
あり、特にCCITT（国際電信電話諮問委員会）の
T.30勧告におけるNSF（NON−STANDARD
FACILITIES）等による通信相手間の照会情報
などの装置使用者への提供が著しく欠けていた。
目 的 本発明は前述した従来の欠点を除去し、通信相
手側を認識するための複数の情報を簡単に構成で
表示できるようにする事を目的としたものであ
る。つまり、本発明のフアクシミリ装置では
NSF等の利用による情報の表示を十分に実現す
ると共に、単に表示器を増やすことをせずに、１
つの表示器を用いて複数の情報を表示すること
で、コスト的に従来の装置となんら変わらないも
のとなつた。また、本装置では「通信中」である
ことを装置使用者に知らせることも可能としたも
のである。
実施例 以下、図に示した実施例に基づいて本発明を詳
細に説明する。
第１図は本発明の実施例で、符号１は伝送手順
及び通信制御を行う伝送制御部、符号２は第２図
に示したフローチヤートに従つてシステムを制御
する中央制御部、符号３は受信画像を印字する画
像記録部、符号４は送信画像を読み取る画像読取
部、符号５は表示しようとするデータを蓄えてお
くメモリであるところのバツフアメモリＡ、符号
６は符号５と同様な機能をもつバツフアメモリ
Ｂ、符号７はバツフアメモリＡ又はＢのデータを
表示する表示器、符号８は一定時間を規定するタ
イマー、符号９はバツフアメモリＡ又はＢを選択
するバツフアセレクターである。
以下、第１図（ブロツク図）及び第２図（フロ
ーチヤート図）を用いて本発明の詳細を説明す
る。CCITTのT.30勧告の手順に基づいて通信相
手の装置と交信するに際し、CSI（CALLED
SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION）、TSI
（TRANSMITTING SUBSCRIBER
IDENTIFICATION）等による相互の電話番号
を伝え合つている。またNSF（NON−
STANDARD FACILITIES），NSS（NON−
STANDARD FACILITIES SET−UP）等によ
り予め通信相互間でそのフオーマツト内容を定
め、自装置の略称を相手に送信することを規約し
ておく。
本発明では送信側及び受信側の両者に実施でき
るが、以下の説明では送信側からの立場で行う。
通信相手の受信装置からの信号は伝送制御部１
で受信され、その前手順でのNSF，CSIは中央制
御部２においてNSFの内容の相手装置の略称を
バツフアメモリＡに、CSIの内容の相手装置の電
話番号をバツフアメモリＢに書き込む。中央制御
部２からのスタート信号によつてタイマー８は、
一定時間毎にバツフアセレクター９に対しトリガ
を加える。バツフアセレクター９は、そのトリガ
毎にバツフアメモリＡとＢを交互にセレクトする
と、表示器７はそのセレクトされたバツフアメモ
リの内容を表示する。
この後、画像データが伝送制御部１で受信され
ると、そのデータは中央制御部２を通して画像記
録部３において画像記録される。
画像が記憶されている際中でも表示器には、相
手電話番号と略称が交互に表示されている。
通信が終了すると、中央制御部２はタイマー８
にストツプ信号を加えることで表示器７は交互表
示を停止する。
また、通信相手からNSFかCSIのどちらか一方
しか送られてこない場合は、バツフアメモリＡ又
はＢにその内容を書き込んでタイマー８を起動さ
せず、連続表示とするよう中央制御部２において
コントロールする。
本発明の実施例の変形として、バツフアメモリ
をより多くして更に多くの情報の交互表示を行う
ことも可能であり、またタイマーを数個またはプ
ログラマブルにし、交互表示時間の間隔を自由に
設定する事もできる。
これらは表示する情報に優先度又は重要度を付
加して表示回路、表示の順序、表示時間等を内容
によつて選択することで、装置使用者への情報の
重要性を意識させることができる。
また本発明では、２種類の表示を行うためにバ
ツフアを２本持つているが、これは中央制御部で
所定時間毎に２種類のデータを表示部に送つても
良い。要するに、本発明の実施にダブルバツフア
は必要不可欠な構成要素ではない。
効 果 以上のように、本発明のフアクシミリ装置にお
いては、従来からの構成部品をほとんど変えるこ
となく簡単な構造により、通信相手間の情報を装
置使用者に十分に提供することが可能となつた。
更に、装置の使用者に対して「通信中」である
事を知らせる事もできるものである。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図は本発明の実施例を示したブロツク図、
第２図は第１図の構成におけるフローチヤート
図、である。 １は伝送制御部、２は中央制御部、３は画像記
録部、４は画像読取部、５はバツフアメモリＡ、
６はバツフアメモリＢ、７は表示器、８はタイマ
ー、９はバツフアセレクターである。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 表示手段を設けたフアクシミリ装置におい
    て、画像通信に先立ち通信相手側からその通信相
    手を認識するための電話番号及び略称をそれぞれ
    区別して受信する受信手段、受信した電話番号及
    び略称をそれぞれ区別して記憶するメモリ、前記
    メモリへの電話番号及び略称の書込み、及び前記
    メモリ内の電話番号及び略称を前記表示手段に表
    示する為に前記メモリからの読出しを制御する制
    御手段を有し、前記制御手段は前記表示手段が前
    記電話番号及び略称を交互に表示する動作を通信
    動作実行中続行するよう前記メモリからの読出し
    を制御することを特徴とするフアクシミリ装置。
