Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 技術分野 本発明は表示手段を設けたファクシミリ装置に関するも
のである。
従来技術 従来のこの種の装置において、表示器が付いているもの
は、通信中の表示が単に通信相手に拘わりのない固定し
た内容を表示するものであり、例えば通信モードとして
「Ｇ６」などと表示するのみであった。
このため、表示器による情報の提供は不十分であり、特
にＣＣＩＴＴ　（国際電信電話諮問委員会）のＴ、６０
勧告におけるＮＳＦ　（Ｎ０Ｎ−８ＴＡＮＤＡＲＤＦＡ
ＣＩＬＩＴＩＥＳ）等による通信相手間の照会情報など
の装置使用者への提供が著しく欠けていた。
目　　　　　的 本発明は前述した従来の欠点を除去し、通信相手側を認
識するだめの複数の情報を簡単な構成で表示できるよう
にする事を目的としたものである。
つまり、本発明のファクシミリ装置ではＮ８Ｆ等の利用
による情報の表示を十分に実現すると共に、単に表示器
を増やすことをせずに、１つの表示器を用いて複数の情
報を表示することで、コスト的。
に従来の装置となんら変わらないものとなった。
また、本装置では「通信中」であることを装置使用者に
知らせることも可能としたものである。
実施例 以下、図に示した実施例に基づいて本発明の詳細な説明
する。
第１図は本発明の実施例で、符号１は伝送手順及受信画
像を印字する画像記録部、符号４は送信画像を読み取る
画像読取部、符号５は表示しようとするデータを蓄えて
おくメモリであるところのバッファメモリＡ、符号６は
符号５と同様な機能をもつバッファメモリＢ１符号７紘
バツフア、＋’　モＱＡ又はＢのデータを表示する表示
器、符号８は一定時間を規定するタイマー、符号９はバ
ッファメモリ人又はＢを選択するバッファセレクターで
ある。
以下、第１図（ブロック図）及び第２図（フローチャー
ト図）を用いて本発明の詳細な説明する。
ＣＣＩＴＴのＴ、６０勧告の手順に基づいて通信相手の
装置と交信するに際し、　Ｃ８Ｉ　（ＣＡＬＬＥＤ　５
ＵＢＳＣＲＩＢＢＲＩＤ器ＴＩＦＩＣＡＴＩＯＮ　）　
、ＴＳＩ　（ＴＲＡＮＳＭＩＴＴＩＮＧ　８ＵＢＳＣＲ
ＩＢＥＲＩＤＥＮＴＩＦＩＣＡＴＩＯＮ）　等Ｋ　、Ｊ

ＮＳＳ　（Ｎ０Ｎ−８ＴＡＮＤＡＲＤ　ＦＡＣＩＬＩＴ
ＩＥＳ　５ＥＴ−ＵＰ　）等により予め通信相互間でそ
のフォーマット内容を定め、自装置の略称を相手に送信
することを規約しておく。
本発明では送信側及び受信側の両者に実施できるが、以
下の説明では送信側からの立場で行う。
通信相手の受信装置からの信号は伝送制御部１で受信さ
れ、その前手順でのＮＳＦ　、　Ｃ８Ｉは中央制御部２
においてＮＳＦの内容の相手装置の略称をバッファメモ
リＡに、Ｃ８Ｉの内容の相手装置の電話番号なバッファ
メモリＢに書き込む。中央制御部２からのスタート信号
によってタイマー８は、一定時間毎にバッファセレクタ
ー９に対しトリガを加える。バッファセレクター９は、
そのトリガ毎にバッファメモリＡとＢを交互にセレクト
すると、表示器７はそのセレクトされたバッファメモリ
の内容を表示する。
この後、画像データが伝送制御部１で受信されると、そ
のデータは中央制御部２を通して画像記録部６において
画像記録される。
画像が記録されている際中でも表示器には、相手電話番
号と略称が交互に表示されている。
通信が終了すると、中央制御部２はタイマー８にストッ
プ信号を加えることで表示器７は交互表示を停止する。
また、通信相手からＮＳＦかＣ８Ｉのどちらか一方しか
送られてこない場合は、バッファメモリＡ又はＢにその
内容を書き込んでタイマー８を起動させず、連続表示と
するよう中央制御部２においてコントロールする。
本発明の実施例の変形として、バッファメモリをより多
くして更に多くの情報の交互表示を行うことも可能であ
り、またタイマーを数個またはプログラマブルにし、交
互表示時間の間隔を自由に設定する事もできる。
これらは表示する情報に優先度又は重要度を付加して表
示回数１表示の順序１表示時間等を内容によって選択す
ることで、装置使用者への情報の重要性を意識させるこ
とができる。
また本発明では、２種類の表示を行うためにバッファを
２本持っているが、これは中央制御部で所定時間毎に２
種類のデータを表示部に送っても良い。要するに、本発
明の実施にダブルバッファは必要不可欠な構成要素では
ない。
効　　　果 以上のように、本発明のファクシミリ装置においては、
従来がらの構成部品をほとんど変えることなく簡単な構
造により、通信相手間の情報を装置使用者に十分に提供
することが可能となった。
更に、装置の使用者に対して「通信中」である事を知ら
せる事もできるものである。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 表示手段を設けたファクシミリ装置において、通信相手
    側を認識するための複数の情報を所定時間毎に順次切換
    えて表示する事を特徴とするファクシミリ装置。
