第6の例示的実施形態では、本発明のシステムは、必要に応じて転写可能な回折光学システムである。回折集光要素も入射光の集束を提供し、これらの集光要素を使用して作られたシステムは、同程度のf値を有する上述の屈折及び反射システムより薄く、回折光学システムの全体の厚さは約3~約50ミクロン(好ましくは約5~約10ミクロン)の範囲である。
Claims (15)
- 低減された厚さを有する光学システムであって、
凸面反射要素の配列と、
前記凸面反射要素の配列の上に位置する画像アイコンの配列と、
前記凸面反射要素の配列と前記画像アイコンの配列との間の間隙空間を満たす充填層と、
を備え、
前記凸面反射要素の配列の各凸面反射要素は、遠くの光源によって照らされた場合に光点を生じさせるように構成された反射面を備え、
前記画像アイコンの配列の各画像アイコンは、前記光点の視界を少なくとも部分的に遮る材料の領域を備え、
前記充填層は一方の面において前記凸面反射要素の配列に当接するとともに、前記画像アイコンの配列は、前記充填層の他方の面上に位置し、
前記凸面反射要素の配列及び前記画像アイコンの配列は、遮られた光点と遮られていない光点とのパターンを形成するように、協働し、
前記遮られた光点と遮られていない光点とのパターンは、合成画像を形成する、
光学システム。 - 前記画像アイコンの配列の上に位置するキャリア基板を更に備える、請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記凸面反射要素の配列の凸面反射要素は、1より小さいf値を有し、ここで、前記f値は、前記凸面反射要素の焦点距離の、前記凸面反射要素の有効レンズ直径に対する比率である、請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記凸面反射要素の配列の凸面反射要素は、0.25~0.50の間のf値を有する、請求項3に記載の光学システム。
- 前記光点を生じさせるように構成された反射面は、球面である、請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記光点を生じさせるように構成された反射面は、非球面である、請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記画像アイコンの配列の画像アイコンは、構造化画像アイコンを備える、請求項1に記載の光学システム。
- 前記構造化画像アイコンは、第1の材料で形成された実質的に平面的な構造内の第2の材料で充填又はコーティングされた空隙及び実質的に平面的な構造内の隆起領域の少なくとも1つである、請求項7に記載の光学システム。
- 光学システムの製造方法であって、
凸面反射要素の配列を提供することと、
画像アイコンの配列を前記凸面反射要素の配列の上に提供することと、
前記凸面反射要素の配列と前記画像アイコンの配列との間の間隙空間を満たす充填層を設けることと、
を備え、
前記凸面反射要素の配列の各凸面反射要素は、遠くの光源によって照らされた場合に光
点を生じさせるように構成された反射面を備え、
前記画像アイコンの配列の各画像アイコンは、視線方向の光点の視界を少なくとも部分的に遮る材料の領域を備え、
前記充填層は一方の面において前記凸面反射要素の配列に当接するとともに、前記画像アイコンの配列は、前記充填層の他方の面上に位置し、
前記凸面反射要素の配列及び前記画像アイコンの配列は、遮られた及び遮られていない光点のパターンを形成するように、協働し、
前記遮られた及び遮られていない光点のパターンは、合成画像を形成する、
光学システムの製造方法。 - 前記画像アイコンの配列は、キャリア基板の上に形成される、請求項9に記載の光学システムの製造方法。
