a[PbTiO3]-b[SrTiO3]-c[BiFeO3]-d[(KxBi1-x)TiO3]
(式中、0.4≦x≦0.6、0.1≦a≦0.4、0.01≦b≦0.2、c≧0.05、d≧0.01、およびa+b+c+d=1であり、Aサイトの原子および/またはBサイトの原子、例えばMn、Nb、Laなどのいずれかに対して2原子%までの量のドーパントをさらに含む。)AサイトまたはBサイトの金属ドーパントは、AサイトまたはBサイトそれぞれにおける等電量または最大2原子%のPbTiO3、SrTiO3、BiFeO3、(KxBi1-x)TiO3の金属に対応する量で置換するように導入される。例示的な金属ドーパントは、Ti、Zr、W、Nb、V、Ta、MoおよびMnである。ドーパントが存在する好ましい実施形態では、ドーパントはNbまたはMnから選択される。

(式中、y≦0.02、0.4≦x≦0.6、0.1≦a≦0.4、0.01≦b≦0.2、c≧0.05、d≧0.01、およびa+b+c+d=1である)として表され得る。ドーピングのための好ましい組成物は上記のものである。したがって、BiFeO3のBサイトでFeの代わりに1原子%のMnが添加される好ましい組成物では、組成物は以下のパラメータを有することとなる。y=0.01、0.4≦x≦0.6、0.24≦a≦0.26、0.05≦b≦0.10、0.46≦c≦0.58、0.08≦d≦0.21、およびa+b+c+d=1。
前駆物質の水分含有量と強熱減量を実行し、水分と強熱減量の結果に応じて、所望の組成を得るための調整を行った。
本発明による例示的な材料を、Xから開発し、Xと比較した。
Claims (13)
- 以下の組成を有する圧電セラミックであって、
a[PbTiO3]-b[SrTiO3]-c[BiFeO3]-d[(KxBi1-x)TiO3]
(式中、0.4≦x≦0.6、0.1≦a≦0.4、0.01≦b≦0.2、c≧0.05、d≧0.01、およびa+b+c+d=1である)
任意に、最大2原子%の量のAまたはBサイトの金属ドーパントを含む、圧電セラミック。 - 0.3≦c≦0.7および0.05≦d≦0.25である、請求項1に記載の圧電セラミック。
- 0.2≦a≦0.3である、請求項1に記載の圧電セラミック。
- xが0.5である、請求項1に記載の圧電セラミック。
- 最大2原子%の、Ti、Zr、W、Nb、V、Ta、Mo、およびMnから選択されるドーパントを含む、請求項1に記載の圧電セラミック。
- 最大2原子%の量のAまたはBサイトの金属ドーパントを含み、前記ドーパントが、Mnおよび/またはNbであり、かつ、置換AまたはBサイト当たり、0.25原子%~2原子%の量で存在する、請求項5に記載の圧電セラミック。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のセラミックを含む圧電セラミックを調製するためのプロセスであって、(A)実質的に化学量論量の、Bi、K、Ti、Fe、Pb、Srのそれぞれの化合物と任意のドーパントとの混合物を調製する工程と、(B)前記混合物を粉末に変換する工程と、(C)前記粉末中に反応を誘発して混合金属酸化物を生成する工程と、(D)前記混合金属酸化物を焼結可能な形態に操作する工程と、(E)前記焼結可能な形態の混合酸化物を焼結してセラミックを生成する工程とを含む、プロセス。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の圧電セラミックを含む圧電素子を含むデバイス。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の圧電セラミックを含む圧電素子を備える圧電アクチュエータ。
- 噴射チャンバと非噴射チャンバとを交互に備える、請求項9に記載の圧電アクチュエータ。
- 圧電アクチュエータを有する液滴堆積ヘッドであって、前記圧電アクチュエータは、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の圧電セラミックを含む圧電素子を備える、液滴堆積ヘッド。
- 前記液滴堆積ヘッドは、インクジェットプリントヘッドである、請求項11に記載の液滴堆積ヘッド。
- 前記圧電アクチュエータは、噴射チャンバと非噴射チャンバとを交互に備える、請求項11に記載の液滴堆積ヘッド。
