Claims (5)
- 発電機(120)に動作可能に接続されたエンジンの劣化または故障のタイプを特定するための方法であって、前記エンジンの劣化または故障のタイプが、摩耗した点火プラグ、燃料不均衡、不良シリンダ、エンジンのノッキング、低燃料注入、低圧縮、及び弁機構の故障からなる群から選択される1種または2種以上である方法において、
発電機(120)のDCリンク電圧(171)を測定するステップと、
測定された前記DCリンク電圧(171)から予測された発電機出力電圧および発電機界磁電流から予測された発電機出力電流を含むサンプリングされた発電機パラメータならびにエンジン速度に基づきトルク予測モデルを用いて発電機(120)のトルクプロファイルを決定するステップと、
前記発電機(120)のトルクプロファイルに基づき、フーリエ変換プロセスを用いて、複数の周波数成分(420)を生成するステップと、
前記複数の周波数成分(420)は、基本周波数成分(422)と、周波数成分の少なくとも2つ(421,423)とを含み、前記周波数成分の少なくとも2つ(421,423)の振幅と、前記基本周波数成分(422)の振幅とを比較することにより、エンジンにおける劣化または故障のタイプを特定するステップと、を備える方法。 - 前記複数の周波数成分は、エンジンにおける各々の部品が第1の状態で運転する場合に第1の周波数成分を示し、エンジンにおけるいずれか1つの部品が第2の状態で運転する場合に第2の周波数成分を示し、
エンジンにおける劣化または故障のタイプは第2の状態に基づいて特定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 周波数成分の少なくとも2つは、0.5次周波数成分および2次周波数成分を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 基本周波数成分の振幅に対する、前記0.5次周波数成分の振幅の比が第1の閾値を超え、かつ前記2次周波数成分の振幅に対する基本周波数成分の振幅の比が第2の閾値を超えたとき、エンジンにおける劣化または故障のタイプを特定する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- エンジンは、4サイクルエンジンである、請求項3に記載の方法。
