Description
他の気筒についても同様であるため簡単に説明すると、#2TDCである場合、#4気筒の燃焼に関して低周波成分の回転変動量ΔNL4と高周波成分の回転変動量ΔNH4との比K4を算出し(ステップS108)、K4の平均化処理により#4気筒の減衰学習値K4smを算出する(ステップS109)。また、#3TDCである場合、#1気筒の燃焼に関して低周波成分の回転変動量ΔNL1と高周波成分の回転変動量ΔNH1との比K1を算出し(ステップS110)、K1の平均化処理により#1気筒の減衰学習値K1smを算出する(ステップS111)。更に、#4TDCである場合、#3気筒の燃焼に関して低周波成分の回転変動量ΔNL3と高周波成分の回転変動量ΔNH3との比K3を算出し(ステップS112)、K3の平均化処理により#3気筒の減衰学習値K3smを算出する(ステップS113)。なお、減衰学習値K1sm〜K4smは、算出の都度バックアップRAM等に保存される。
Claims (12)
- 内燃機関のクランク軸の回転速度を検出する回転速度検出手段と、
前記回転速度検出手段の検出により得られた回転速度信号に含まれる、内燃機関の燃焼サイクルに同期する第1周波数成分よりも高周波の第2周波数成分を抽出する手段と、
該抽出した第2周波数成分に基づいて内燃機関の燃焼状態を検出する手段と、
を備え、
所定の機関回転数よりも低回転域では前記第1周波数成分に基づいて内燃機関の燃焼状態を検出し、高回転域では前記第2周波数成分に基づいて内燃機関の燃焼状態を検出することを特徴とする内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。 - 多気筒内燃機関に適用され、前記第2周波数成分の気筒間の減衰特性に基づいて前記第2周波数成分の回転変動量を補正する手段を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 多気筒内燃機関のクランク軸の回転速度を検出する回転速度検出手段と、
前記回転速度検出手段の検出により得られた回転速度信号に含まれる、内燃機関の燃焼サイクルに同期する第1周波数成分よりも高周波の第2周波数成分を抽出する手段と、
該抽出した第2周波数成分に基づいて内燃機関の燃焼状態を検出する手段と、
を備え、さらに、
前記第2周波数成分の気筒間の減衰特性に基づいて、前記抽出した第2周波数成分の回転変動量を補正する手段を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。 - 気筒毎に算出した前記第2周波数成分の回転変動量と前記第1周波数成分の回転変動量との比較により気筒毎に前記減衰特性としての減衰学習値を算出し、該減衰学習値により前記第2周波数成分の回転変動量を補正することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 内燃機関が所定の低回転状態にある場合に前記第1周波数成分と前記第2周波数成分とにより気筒毎に減衰学習値を算出することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記第2周波数成分の気筒別減衰特性データを予め記憶しておき、該気筒別減衰特性データに基づいて前記第2周波数成分の回転変動量を気筒毎に補正することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記回転速度信号から前記第2周波数成分を抽出するための抽出周波数帯域を機関回転数に応じて可変に設定することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記回転速度信号から前記第1周波数成分を抽出するための抽出周波数帯域を機関回転数に応じて可変に設定することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れかにに記載の内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記第2周波数成分の回転変動量に基づいて内燃機関の燃焼時に発生する燃焼トルクを推定する手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至8の何れかに内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記第2周波数成分に基づいて内燃機関の筒内圧のピーク発生位置を推定する手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至8の何れかに内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記第2周波数成分に基づいて内燃機関のノック発生の有無を判定する手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至8の何れかに内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
- 前記第2周波数成分の回転変動を複数サンプリングし、該サンプリングした回転変動の統計的処理に基づいて内燃機関の燃焼安定度を判定する手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至8の何れかに内燃機関の燃焼状態検出装置。
