Description
また、本発明は前記負極を含むリチウム二次電池を提供する。
(S1)原糸が織られた基材織物を準備する段階;
(S2)前記基材織物上に金属材をコーティングする段階;及び
(S3)前記金属材上に炭素材をコーティングする段階;で行うことができる。
(S1)原糸が織られた基材織物の準備段階
先ず、前記説明した材質及び気孔特性を有する織物を製作または購入する。製作は通常の紡績工程を通して行い、本発明で特に限定しない。
次に、前記基材織物上に乾式コーティングまたは湿式コーティング工程を通して金属をコーティングする。金属の乾式コーティングは、スパッタリング、真空蒸着、イオンプレイティングのようなPVD工程を施したり、電解または無電解めっき工程で行う。このような工程は、本発明で特に限定せずに、公知の方法を通して行うことができる。前記無電解めっき工程(Electroless plating method)を介する金属のコーティングを行う場合、純水(Pure water)、金属塩、キレート剤、還元剤、安定剤及びpH調節剤を含む無電解めっき液を製造した後、これに前記基材織物を浸漬して行う。
次に、前記金属材がコーティングされた基材織物を炭素材を利用してコーティングする。炭素材は、前述した材質が可能であり、これはスラリーコーティングという湿式工程を通して行う。この時、スラリーコーティングは、炭素材、バインダー、溶媒及び分散剤を含むスラリーコーティング液を製造した後、これを印刷コーティング、ディップコーティング、ロールコティング、スピンコーティング、フローコーティング、グラビアコーティングなど多様な方法によって基材織物の金属材上に塗布し、乾燥する工程を通して製造する。
下記表1を準備した後、下板/正極/セパレーター/導電性織物/負極/スペーサ/Ni foam/Spring/上板の順にコインセル(Coin Cell)を組み立てた。この時、導電性織物はポリエステル原糸、金属材はニッケル(Ni)、炭素材は活物質(LCO)と導電材(CNT系)、バインダー(PVDF系)が混合された物質でコーティングし、面抵抗0.08ohmn/sq、厚さ32〜35μm、空隙サイズ7〜28μm、孔隙率は約15%である。
前記実施例1で導電性織物を除いた他の構成を同様にしてコインセルを組み立てた。
前記実施例1で導電性織物の代わりに非導電性織物を使ったことを除いた他の構成を同様にしてコインセルを組み立てた。
この時、非導電性織物は、ポリエステル原糸を使用し、面抵抗0.3ohmn/sq、厚さ29〜33μm、空隙サイズ10〜25μm、孔隙率は約15%である。
実施例1及び比較例1ないし2のコインセルリチウム二次電池を、次の条件で充放電した。
−Formation:充電0.2C/放電0.2C(3回)
−Cycle:充電0.3C/放電0.5C(80回以上)
図4及び図6は、x軸をサイクル、y軸を放電容量にしたデータである。図4に図示されたように、実施例1の導電性保護層を適用する場合は、出力特性が増加するが、導電性織物を適用した時が比較例1より初期放電容量が大きく表れているためである。

Claims (10)
- 負極;正極;及びこれらの間に介在される電解質;を含むリチウム二次電池において、
前記負極は、リチウム金属層;及びこれの少なくとも一面に形成された保護層を含み、
前記保護層は、空隙が形成された導電性織物であり、
前記導電性織物は、原糸が織られた基材織物上に金属材及び炭素材が順次コーティングされた導電性織物であり、
前記保護層が、前記リチウム二次電池に含まれる正極を向いて配されることになることを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。 - 前記導電性織物の空隙サイズは、1ないし10,000μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記導電性織物の孔隙率は、5ないし50%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記導電性織物の厚さは、0.01ないし50μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記導電性織物の面抵抗は、0.001ないし1ohm/sqであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記原糸は、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリエチレン、ポリウレタン、ポリプロピレン、ポリウレア、綿、毛、絹、麻の群から選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記金属材は、ニッケル(Ni)、銅(Cu)、アルミニウム(Al)、金(Au)、銀(Ag)、亜鉛(Zn)及びスズ(Sn)の群から選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記金属材は、基材織物100重量部に対して30ないし70重量部でコーティングされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記炭素材は、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、膨脹黒鉛、グラフェン(Graphene)、黒鉛(グラファイト)系;活性炭(Active carbon)系;カーボンブラック(Carbon black)系;炭素繊維(Carbon fiber)系、炭素ナノ構造体;及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択された1種以上のことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記炭素材は、基材織物100重量部に対して20ないし50重量部でコーティングされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
