Description
別途指定されない限り、本明細書で使用される以下の用語は、以下に提示される意味を有する。
100℃より高いガラス転移温度を有する水分散性スルホポリエステルを調製することができ、これは米国特許第5369210号(全て引用することにより本明細書の一部をなす)に記載されている。105℃〜120℃の近似範囲のTgを有するスルホポリエステルはABS部品材料に好適な支持材料である。
本開示のスルホポリアミドは非晶質で、水溶液に分散性のものである。非晶質(透明な)ポリアミドが米国特許第2696482号及び同第3296204号(これらの特許は各々、全て引用することにより本明細書の一部をなす)に記載されている。ポリアミドの透明な性質は、(テレフタル酸の代わりに)イソフタル酸をジアミンとの反応物として使用して、ポリアミドの非晶質の性質を得ることによって得られる。

(式中、R及びRは上記で規定したとおりである)の反復単位で構成される。
本開示のスルホポリウレタンは、1分子当たり2つ以上のイソシアネート基を含有するイソシアネート(R−(N=C=O)n≧2)を、1分子当たり平均2つ以上のヒドロキシ基を含有するポリオール(R’−(OH)n≧2)と、触媒の存在下又は紫外光で活性化することによって反応させることによって生成される。
Claims (22)
- 非水分散性ポリマーを含む三次元部品の付加製造において支持材料として使用するように構成される水分散性スルホポリマーであって、前記水分散性スルホポリマーは、スルホモノマーの反応産物であり、前記反応産物は、スルホポリアミド、スルホポリエステルアミド、及びスルホポリウレタンからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であり、前記水分散性スルホポリマーが、前記非水分散性ポリマーの熱変形温度の±20℃以内、又は好ましくは前記非水分散性ポリマーの熱変形温度の±15℃以内の熱変形温度を有し、水分散性である前記水分散性スルホポリマーを含む支持構造が前記非水分散性ポリマーを含む三次元部品と分離する、水分散性スルホポリマー。
- 非水分散性ポリマーを含む三次元部品の付加製造において支持材料として使用するように構成される水分散性スルホポリマーであって、前記水分散性スルホポリマーは、スルホモノマーの反応産物であり、前記反応産物は、スルホポリアミド、スルホポリエステルアミド、及びスルホポリウレタンからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であり、前記水分散性スルホポリマーが、前記非水分散性ポリマーのガラス転移温度の±20℃以内、又は好ましくは前記非水分散性ポリマーのガラス転移温度の±15℃以内のガラス転移温度を有し、水分散性である前記水分散性スルホポリマーを含む支持構造が前記非水分散性ポリマーを含む三次元部品と分離する、水分散性スルホポリマー。
- 前記反応産物が、縮合反応の反応産物である、請求項1又は2に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。

- 少なくともおよそ45℃のガラス転移温度を特徴とする、請求項2に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
- 実質的に非晶質である、請求項2に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
- 少なくとも半結晶性である、請求項1に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
- 少なくとも約0.4meq/gの電荷密度を有し、何ら他の溶解性助剤又は分散性助剤の助けを借りることなく水溶性又は水分散性を示すのに適するものである、請求項1又は2に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
- スルホン化芳香族二酸又はジオールモノマーが前記水分散性スルホポリマーの合成に使用される、請求項1又は2に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
- 三次元部品とともに使用される支持構造を付加製造する方法であって、前記三次元部品が構成的に非水分散性ポリマーを含み、
構成的に水分散性スルホポリマーを含む前記支持構造であって、該水分散性スルホポリマーがスルホモノマーの反応産物を含み、該水分散性スルホポリマーは、スルホポリアミド、スルホポリエステルアミド、及びスルホポリウレタンからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であり、前記非水分散性ポリマーのガラス転移温度の±20℃以内、又は好ましくは前記非水分散性ポリマーのガラス転移温度の±15℃以内のガラス転移温度を有する、前記支持構造を印刷することと、
前記水分散性スルホポリマーを水に曝すことによって、前記非水分散性ポリマーを前記水分散性スルホポリマーと分離すること、
を含む、方法。 - 三次元部品とともに使用される支持構造を付加製造する方法であって、前記三次元部品が構成的に非水分散性ポリマーを含み、
構成的に水分散性スルホポリマーを含む前記支持構造であって、該水分散性スルホポリマーがスルホモノマーの反応産物を含み、該水分散性スルホポリマーが、スルホポリアミド、スルホポリエステルアミド、スルホポリウレタンからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であり、前記非水分散性ポリマーの熱変形温度の±20℃以内、又は好ましくは前記非水分散性ポリマーの熱変形温度の±15℃以内の熱変形温度を有する、前記支持構造を印刷することと、
前記水分散性スルホポリマーを水に曝すことによって、前記非水分散性ポリマーを前記水分散性スルホポリマーと分離すること、
を含む、方法。 - 前記水分散性スルホポリマーが、少なくともおよそ0.4meq/gの電荷密度を有する結果、前記水分散性スルホポリマーが水分散性となるため、前記水分散性スルホポリマーが、前記非水分散性ポリマーを含む前記三次元部品と分離する、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記電荷密度がおよそ0.4meq/g〜0.9meq/gである、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記水分散性スルホポリマーがスルホイソフタル酸モノマーを含む、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記水分散性スルホポリマーがおよそ18%〜35%のスルホイソフタル酸モノマーを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記水分散性スルホポリマーがおよそ25%〜35%のスルホイソフタル酸モノマーを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 非水分散性ポリマーを含む三次元部品の付加製造において支持材料として使用するように構成される、水分散性スルホポリマーであって、
該水分散性スルホポリマーが、Ca ++ 、Ni ++ 、Fe ++ 、Fe +++ 、及びZn ++ からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の金属カチオンを有する金属スルホモノマーの反応産物であり、前記三次元部品の非水分散性ポリマーの熱変形温度の±20℃以内、又は好ましくは前記三次元部品の非水分散性ポリマーの熱変形温度の±15℃以内の熱変形温度を有し、水分散性である前記水分散性スルホポリマーを含む支持構造が前記非水分散性ポリマーを含む前記三次元部品と分離する、水分散性スルホポリマー。 - 非水分散性ポリマーを含む三次元部品の付加製造において支持材料として使用するように構成される、水分散性スルホポリマーであって、
該水分散性スルホポリマーが、Ca ++ 、Ni ++ 、Fe ++ 、Fe +++ 、及びZn ++ からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の金属カチオンを有する金属スルホモノマーの反応産物であり、前記三次元部品の非水分散性ポリマーのガラス転移温度の±20℃以内、又は好ましくは前記三次元部品の非水分散性ポリマーのガラス転移温度の±15℃以内のガラス転移温度を有し、水分散性である前記水分散性スルホポリマーを含む支持構造が、前記非水分散性ポリマーを含む前記三次元部品と分離する、水分散性スルホポリマー。 - 前記反応産物が、スルホポリエステル、スルホポリアミド、スルホポリエステルアミド又はスルホポリウレタンを含む、請求項19又は20に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
- およそ18%〜40%のスルホイソフタル酸モノマー、又はおよそ20%〜35%のスルホイソフタル酸モノマー、又はおよそ25%〜35%のスルホイソフタル酸モノマーを含む、請求項19又は20に記載の水分散性スルホポリマー。
