Description
樹脂フィルムとして、PETからなる無孔のベースシートに、イオンビーム照射およびエッチングにより直径0.8μmの円形の貫通孔を形成した厚さ22μmのサンプルA(オキシフェン社製Oxydisk)を用いた。
樹脂フィルムとして、PETからなる無孔のベースシートに、イオンビーム照射およびエッチングにより直径3.0μmの貫通孔を形成した厚さ20μmのサンプルB(オキシフェン社製Oxydisk)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。
樹脂フィルムの代わりに、厚さ20μm、平均孔径0.5μmのPTFE多孔質膜Aを用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。PTFE多孔質膜Aは、まずPTFE微粉末に液状潤滑剤を混合したものを押し出してシート状に成形し、ついでシート状成形体を圧延するとともに乾燥させた後に、PTFEの融点以上の380℃で縦方向に5倍、横方向に8倍に延伸して作製した。
樹脂フィルムの代わりに、厚さ20μm、平均孔径0.8μmのPTFE多孔質膜Bを用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。PTFE多孔質膜Bは、まずPTFE微粉末に液状潤滑剤を混合したものを押し出してシート状に成形し、ついでシート状成形体を圧延するとともに乾燥させた後に、PTFEの融点以下の280℃で縦方向に4.5倍、横方向に15倍に延伸して作製した。
樹脂フィルムの代わりに、厚さ70μm、平均孔径3.0μmのPTFE多孔質膜Cを用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして防水通気フィルタを得た。PTFE多孔質膜Cは、まずPTFE微粉末に液状潤滑剤を混合したものを押し出してシート状に成形し、ついでシート状成形体を圧延するとともに乾燥させた後に、PTFEの融点以上の380℃で縦方向に10倍、横方向に8倍に延伸して作製した。
実施例および比較例の防水通気フィルタに対して、JIS P8117に準拠して20箇所で通気度を測定し、平均値および標準偏差を算出した。さらに、標準偏差を平均値で割り、それに100を掛けた数値を変動率として算出した。

Claims (9)
- 筐体に設けられた開口を塞ぐように前記筐体に装着され、自身を介した前記筐体の内部と外部との間の通気を確保しつつ水の浸入を防止するために使用される防水通気フィルタであって、
樹脂フィルムであって、該樹脂フィルムを厚さ方向に貫通する複数の貫通孔と、内部が樹脂で詰まった中実の部分と、を有する樹脂フィルムと、
前記樹脂フィルムの厚さ方向の両面のうちの少なくとも一方の面上に、前記複数の貫通孔と対応する位置に開口を有するように形成された、疎水性および撥油性を有する処理層と、を備え、
前記複数の貫通孔は、0.01μm以上10μm以下の所定のサイズを有し、密度が10〜1×108個/mm2の範囲のうちの特定の帯域に収まるように一様に分布し、
前記複数の貫通孔は複数のストレート孔であり、
前記複数の貫通孔の内周面も前記処理層によって覆われている、防水通気フィルタ。 - 前記樹脂フィルムの気孔率が50%以下である、請求項1に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記所定のサイズに対する前記樹脂フィルムの厚さの比が1以上10000以下である、請求項1または2に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂フィルムの前記樹脂は、アルカリ溶液、酸化剤溶液、または酸化剤を含むアルカリ溶液により分解する樹脂である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記複数の貫通孔の前記内周面は、前記アルカリ溶液、前記酸化剤溶液、および前記酸化剤を含むアルカリ溶液からなる群より選ばれるエッチング処理液に曝されたものである、請求項4に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂フィルムの前記樹脂は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリエチレンナフタレートおよびポリフッ化ビニリデンから選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項4または5に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 前記樹脂フィルムに積層された通気性支持材をさらに備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- JIS L1092−A(低水圧法)またはJIS L1092−B(高水圧法)に準拠して測定した耐水圧が1kPa以上1000kPa以下である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の防水通気フィルタ。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載された防水通気フィルタを用いて筐体に設けられた開口を塞ぎ、前記防水通気フィルタを介して前記筐体の内部と外部の圧力差を解消する、防水通気フィルタの使用。
