Description
重量百分率として:
・CeO2とY2O3によって部分的に安定化されたZrO2:100%への残部;
・Al2O3:10〜60%;
・CaO、酸化マンガン、ZnO、La2O3、酸化プラセオジム、SrO、酸化銅、Nd2O3、BaO、酸化鉄及びそれらの混合物から選択される添加剤:0.2%〜6%;
・ただしCaOの量は2%より少ない;
・不純物:<2%;
・CeO2とY2O3は、ZrO2とCeO2とY2O3の合計に基づくモル百分率で、
・CeO2:6モル%〜11モル%;及び
・Y2O3:0.5モル%〜2モル%;
であるような量で存在する:
該粒子は1300℃より高い焼結温度にて焼結することによって得られ、該焼結温度は
(C1)添加剤がCaOであるとき、又は、
(C2)CeO2モル含有量が10%〜11%の範囲にあるときは
1400℃より高い、好ましくは1425℃より高い。
b)上記粉体から懸濁物を調製し、懸濁物の組成は、段階f)の最後で、本発明の焼結粒子に一致する組成を有する焼結粒子を得るように適合されている。
c)懸濁物の滴を硬化して、未焼成粒子を形成する。
d)洗浄する。
e)乾燥する。
f)1300℃超の焼結温度で焼結して、焼結粒子を得る。
焼結温度は
(C’1)懸濁物が、Mn、Zn、Cu、Pr、Nd、Sr、La、Ba、またはFeの化合物を含まない、つまり焼結粒子中の添加剤がCaOである、あるいは、
(C’2)懸濁物が、段階f)の最後で得られた焼結粒子のCeO2モル含有量がZrO2、CeO2、及びY2O3の合計に基づくモル百分率で10〜11%の範囲にあるなら、1400℃超であり、好ましくは1425℃超である。
用語「粒子」は、粉体中にある固体物質の一つの個体を意味する。
T=100×(A細長いグレイン)/(A細長いグレイン+AAl2o3+AZro2) (1)
・ヒボナイト型相の<110>反射に相当するピーク(ICDDファイルNo38−0470)の、及び
・マグネトプランバイト型相の<107>反射に相当するピーク(ICDDファイルNo04−0704)の
X線回折図にて測定された面積の合計である。
・固形分に基づく重量百分率で0〜10%の量の分散剤。
・固形分に基づく重量百分率で0〜3%の量の粘度安定剤、又は凝集防止剤。
・固形分に基づく重量百分率で0〜3%の量の表面張力変更剤。
・固形分に基づく重量百分率で0〜2%の量のゲル化剤。
分散剤または凝集防止剤として、ナトリウムまたはアンモニウムポリメタクリレート群、ナトリウムまたはアンモニウムポリアクリレート群、ポリアクリル酸群(アンモニウムまたはナトリウム塩)、または、その他の高分子電解質、クエン酸塩群、例えばアンモニウム、リン酸ナトリウム群、及びカルボン酸エステル群、
表面張力変更剤として、ある脂肪族アルコールのような有機溶媒、及び、
ゲル化剤として、天然多糖群のいずれかである。
焼結粒子の密度はヘリウムピクノメトリ法(AccuPyc 1330、マイクロメリティクス(商標)社製)により測定された。
100(m0−m)/m0
・プラネタリー摩耗が3%に等しいかそれ未満であり、かつ、
・密度が4.5g/cm3〜5.9g/cm3の範囲にあるときに、
粉砕収率とプラネタリー摩耗の間に良い妥協があると考える。
Claims (26)
- 最小粒径と最大粒径の比が0.6超であり、以下の化学分析を有する焼結粒子
重量百分率として:
・Al2O3:10〜60%;
・CaOである添加剤、及び、酸化マンガン、SrO、BaO及びそれらの混合物から選択される第二の添加剤:0.2%〜6%;
・ただしCaOの量は2%より少ない;
・不純物:<2%;
・CeO 2 とY 2 O 3 で部分的に安定化されたZrO 2 :焼結粒子の重量を100%とした残りの量;
・ジルコニアはCeO2とY2O3で安定化されており、CeO2とY2O3は、ZrO2とCeO2とY2O3の合計に基づくモル百分率で
・CeO2:6モル%〜11モル%;及び
・Y2O3:0.5モル%〜2モル%;
となるようなモル量で含まれる;
・該粒子は、酸化マンガン、及び/又はSrO、及び/又はBaO、及び/又は前記酸化物の前駆体粒子を含む粒子混合物を、1300℃より高い焼結温度にて焼結することによって得られ、該焼結温度は、CeO2モル含有量が10%〜11%の範囲にあれば、1400℃より高い。 - CeO2モル含有量が10%未満かつ7%超である、請求項1に記載の焼結粒子。
- CeO2モル含有量が9.5%未満かつ8.5%超である、請求項2に記載の焼結粒子。
- Y2O3モル含有量が1.2%未満かつ0.8%超である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- アルミナAl2O3含有量が酸化物に基づく重量百分率で15%超かつ55%未満である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- アルミナAl2O3含有量が酸化物に基づく重量百分率で20%超かつ40%未満である、請求項5に記載の焼結粒子。
- 添加剤がCaO及び、MnO、MnO2、Mn2O3、Mn3O4 、SrO及びそれらの混合物から選択される第二の添加剤を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 添加剤がCaO及び、MnO、Mn3O4及びそれらの混合物から選択される第二の添加剤を含む、請求項7に記載の焼結粒子。
- CaOの量が、酸化物に基づく重量百分率で0.3%超である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 第二の添加剤の量が、酸化物に基づく重量百分率で0.1%超である、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 添加剤含有量が酸化物に基づく重量百分率で0.4%超かつ5%未満である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 添加剤の量が酸化物に基づく重量百分率で0.5%超かつ1%未満である、請求項11に記載の焼結粒子。
- 添加剤の量が酸化物に基づく重量百分率で4%未満である、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 添加剤がCaOを含有し、該CaOの量が酸化物に基づく重量百分率で0.3%超かつ1.5%未満である、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 不純物の量が1%未満である、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 0.7超の球形度を有するビーズ状である、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 細長い形状を有するグレインを含有し、X線回折で測定された細長い形状を有するグレインの量が0.05%〜5%の範囲にある、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- ジルコニアの80体積%超が正方晶相にある、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- ドリップキャスティング工程を含む方法によって製造された、請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 少なくとも焼結工程が終わる前に、熱間静圧圧縮成形(HIP)を含まない方法によって製造された、請求項1〜19のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子。
- 粒子混合物を焼結することによって製造された、請求項1〜20のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子であって、該粒子混合物が、ZrO 2 粉体、Al 2 O 3 粉体、CeO 2 粉体、CaO粉体、酸化マンガン粉体、及び/又はSrO粉体、及び/又はBaO粉体、及び/又は前記酸化物の前駆体粉体を含み、及び、Y 2 O 3 を、酸化イットリウム粉体及び/または酸化イットリウムの前駆体の形で、又は酸化イットリウムで部分的に安定化されたジルコニアの形で含む、焼結粒子。
- 粒子混合物であって、ZrO2、Al2O3、CeO2、Y2O3 、CaO、及び/又は酸化マンガン及び/又はSrO及び/又はBaO及び/又は前記酸化物の前駆体粒子を、該粒子混合物を焼結することによって請求項1〜21のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子が得られるような割合で含有する、粒子混合物。
- メジアン径が1μm未満である、請求項22に記載の粒子混合物。
- メジアン径が0.3μm未満である、請求項23に記載の粒子混合物。
- 請求項1〜21のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子、又は請求項22〜24のいずれか1項に記載の粒子混合物から製造された焼結粒子を含む粉砕機。
- 請求項1〜21のいずれか1項に記載の焼結粒子、又は請求項22〜24のいずれか1項に記載の粒子混合物から製造された焼結粒子を粉砕媒体として使用する方法。
