Description
構造表面を有する少なくとも表面架橋された吸水性ポリマー構造体と、
この構造表面の上に少なくとも部分的に固定化された多量の微粒子と、
を含む超吸収体組成物によってもたらされる。
(α1)20−99.999重量%、好ましくはは55−98.99重量%、および特に好ましくは70−98.79重量%の、酸性基あるいはその塩を有する重合されたエチレン性不飽和モノマー、または、プロトン化もしくは四級化された窒素を含有する重合されたエチレン性不飽和モノマー、あるいはそれらの混合物(特に好ましくは、少なくとも酸性基を含有するエチレン性不飽和モノマー、好ましくはアクリル酸を含む混合物)、
(α2)0−80重量%、好ましくは0−44.99重量%、および特に好ましくは0.1−44.89重量%の重合された(α1)と共重合可能な、モノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
(α3)0.001−5重量%、好ましくは0.01−3重量%、および特に好ましくは、0.01−2.5重量%の1つ以上の架橋剤、
(α4)0〜30重量%、好ましくは、0〜5重量%、および特に好ましくは、0.1−5重量%の水溶性ポリマー、
(α5)0〜20重量%、好ましくは、2.5〜15重量%、および特に好ましくは、3〜10重量%の水、ならびに
(α6)0〜20重量%、特に0〜10重量%、および特に好ましくは、0.1〜8重量%の1つ以上の補助剤
に基づく吸水性ポリマー構造体を含み、(α1)から(α6)の総重量は100重量%である。
a)架橋剤の存在下において酸性基を有し、随意に部分的に中和されるエチレン性不飽和モノマーをラジカル重合して、ゲル様ポリマー構造体を形成する工程と、
b)ゲル様ポリマー構造体を随意に粉砕する工程と、
c)随意に粉砕したゲル様ポリマー構造体を乾燥して、吸水性ポリマー構造体を得る工程と、
d)この方法で得た吸水性ポリマーを随意に粉砕し、所望の粒径画分になるまで篩過する工程と、
e)工程c)が実施される前、または実施された後に、好ましくは工程d)の後に、この方法で得られた吸水性ポリマー構造体の構造表面を後架橋する工程と、
を含む方法によって得られるポリマーを含むことが好ましい。
(α1)アクリル酸が特に好ましい、酸性基またはその塩を有するエチレン性不飽和モノマーと、
(α2)(α1)と共重合できる随意のモノエチレン性の不飽和モノマーと、
(α3)架橋剤と、

i)構造表面を有する、少なくとも表面架橋した吸水性ポリマー構造体を準備する工程と、
ii)多量の微粒子を含む微粒子成分を準備する工程と、
iii)多量の微粒子を含む微粒子成分と、吸水性ポリマー構造体とを混合する工程と、
iv)構造表面の上にこの微粒子の少なくとも一部を固定化する工程と、
を含む超吸収体組成物の調製方法によっても実現する。
バリエーションVAによれば、微粒子成分と吸水性ポリマー構造体の混合物は、まず、工程iii)において調製され、次に、これが上述の温度で、微粒子を固定化する目的で加熱される。ここで吸水性ポリマー構造体は、すでに表面が後架橋されていてもよく、または実際すでに後架橋剤と接触はしたが、後架橋のために必要な温度まではまだ加熱されていなくてもよい。
バリエーションVBによれば、吸水性ポリマー構造体は、工程iii)の前に、まず上述の温度まで加熱され、次に、これらの予熱された吸水性ポリマー構造体は、工程iii)の予熱されていない微粒子成分と混合される。
バリエーションVcによれば、吸水性ポリマー構造体および微粒子成分は、工程iii)の前に、各々上述の温度まで加熱され、予熱された吸水性ポリマー構造体は、次に、工程iii)において同様に予熱された微粒子成分と混合される。このバリエーションVcの特定の実施形態によれば、まず、微粒子成分は、加熱後でかつ予熱した吸水性ポリマー構造体と混合する前に、好ましくは10〜100℃の範囲の温度で、特に好ましくは15〜75℃の範囲の温度で、最も好ましくは20〜60℃の範囲の温度にてまず冷却し、その後、例えば、乳鉢によって随意に粉砕し、次に、冷却しかつ随意に粉砕した微粒子成分を、予熱された吸水性ポリマー構造体と混合することが好ましい。
バリエーションVDによれば、微粒子成分は、工程iii)の前に、まず、上述の温度まで加熱され、予熱された微粒子成分は、次に、工程iii)で予熱されていない吸水性ポリマー構造体と混合される。このバリエーションVDの特定の実施形態によれば、微粒子成分を、加熱後でかつ予熱していない吸水性ポリマー構造体と混合する前に、好ましくは、10〜100℃の範囲の温度で、特に好ましくは15〜75℃の範囲の温度で、最も好ましくは、20〜60℃の範囲の温度にて、まず冷却し、その後、例えば乳鉢によって随意に粉砕され、次に冷却されかつ随意に粉砕された微粒子成分を、予熱されていない吸水性ポリマー構造体と混合することが好ましい。
I)基材を準備する工程と、

III)多量の微粒子を含む微粒子成分を準備する工程と、
IV)基材を、少なくとも表面架橋された吸水性ポリマー構造体と接触させる工程と、
V)その少なくとも表面架橋された吸水性ポリマー構造体を、微粒子成分と接触させる工程と、
VI)構造表面上にその微粒子の少なくとも一部を固定化する工程と、
を含む。
(SFC値の測定)
膨潤状態での透水性(生理食塩水透過率=SFC)は、国際公開第95/22356号パンフレットに記載の方法によって測定した。約0.9gの超吸収体物質(総粒子画分)を、篩底を有するシリンダーの中に入れて量り、篩域全体に慎重に広げた。超吸収体物質を、JAYCO合成尿の中で、20g/cm2の圧力に対して1時間に渡って膨潤させる。超吸収体の膨潤した高さを記録した後、いっぱいにした貯蔵容器から、0.118M NaCl溶液を、一定の静水圧下において膨潤したゲル層を通して流す。測定中は、ゲル上の0.118M NaCl溶液の均一な配分、および、ゲル床の性質に関する測定中の一定の条件(測定温度20〜25℃)を確保する特別なふるいシリンダーで、膨潤したゲル層を覆う。膨潤した超吸収体へ作用する圧力は、20g/cm2のまま継続させる。時間の関数としてのゲル層を通過する液体の量は、コンピューターおよび天秤を用いて、20秒ごとに10分間にわたって記録される。膨潤したゲル層を通る流量g/sは、回帰分析、勾配の外挿および2〜10分間内の流れの時間t=0での中間点の決定によって決定する。SFC値(K)は、cm3×s×g-1で記載し、次のとおり計算した:
Fs(t=0)は流量(g/s)、
L0はゲル層の厚み(cm)、
rはNaCl溶液の密度(1.003g/cm3)、
Aはメスシリンダーにおけるゲル層の上部面積(28.27cm2)、
ΔPはゲル層に負荷する静水圧(4,920ダイン/cm2)、
KはSFC値
である。
300.0gのアクリル酸、233.11gのNaOH(濃度50%)、442.75gの脱イオン水、1.180gのモノアリルポリエチレングリコール−750モノアクリル酸エステル、および0.577gのポリエチレングリコール−300ジアクリレートからなるモノマー溶液を、窒素を吹き込むことにより溶存酵素を取り除き、開始温度の4℃まで冷却した。開始温度に達した後、開始剤溶液(10.0gのH2O中0.3gのペルオキシ二硫酸ナトリウム、10.0gのH2O中0.07g、濃度35%の過酸化水素水溶液、および2.0gのH2O中0.015gアスコルビン酸)を添加した。約86℃の最終温度に達した後、生成したゲルを粉砕し、150℃で120分間にわたって乾燥した。乾燥したポリマーを粗く砕き、SM100カッティングミルの中で、粒径が2,000μmより小さくなるまで磨り潰し、150〜850μmの粒径を有する粉末になるまで篩過した。
実施例1の調製において得られた100gのポリマーを、130℃で、乾燥棚の中で予熱した。

- 超吸収体組成物であって、
構造表面を有する、少なくとも表面架橋した吸水性ポリマー構造体と、
前記構造表面上に少なくとも部分的に固定化された多量の微粒子と
を含み、
前記微粒子は、結合剤を介して固定化されており、
前記微粒子の少なくとも50重量%は、100〜600μmの範囲の平均粒径を有し、
前記結合剤は、5,000〜20,000g/molの範囲の重量平均分子量Mwを有するポリアルキレングリコールであり、
前記微粒子は、無機微粒子であってアルミニウム塩である、超吸収体組成物。 - 前記多量の微粒子のうち少なくとも2つが互いに結合し微粒子の凝集体を形成し、前記微粒子の少なくとも50重量%は、100〜600μmの範囲の平均粒径を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリアルキレングリコールは、ポリエチレングリコールまたはポリプロピレングリコールである、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 前記微粒子は、少なくとも2つの異なる種類の微粒子を含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 超吸収体組成物の調製方法であって、
i)構造表面を有する、少なくとも表面架橋した吸水性ポリマー構造体を準備する工程と、
ii)多量の微粒子を含む微粒子成分を準備する工程と、
iii)前記多量の微粒子を含む微粒子成分と、前記吸水性ポリマー構造体とを混合する工程と、
iv)前記構造表面の上に前記微粒子の少なくとも一部を固定化する工程と
を含み、
前記微粒子は、アルミニウム塩であり、
前記微粒子成分は、結合剤を含み、
前記結合剤は、5,000〜20,000g/molの範囲の重量平均分子量Mwを有するポリアルキレングリコールであり
前記微粒子成分が、前記吸水性ポリマー構造体と混合される前に、前記結合剤と前もって混合される、方法。 - 前記固定化する工程は、加熱によって実施される、請求項5に記載の方法。
