Description
(i)植物を水と混合して10°以下のブリックスを得るステップと
(ii)段階(i)の混合物を粉砕し、液体から固形物を分離して、果肉および漿液の2相を得るステップと
(iii)果肉を抽出してカロテノイド含有植物オレオレジンを得るステップと
を含む、10°ブリックスよりも大きいブリックスのカロテノイド含有植物からカロテノイドを抽出する方法を提供する。
トマトペースト100gを水600gと混合した。混合物を3000Rpmで3分間遠心分離した。5÷Bxおよび水分82%未満の沈降物を、酢酸エチル250gを用いて60÷Cの温度で3回抽出した。抽出物を合わせ、減圧下で見かけ乾燥するまで蒸発乾固させて、有機溶媒を含まない均質なオレオレジンを形成した。オレオレジン中のリコペン濃度は5〜6%であった。
以下の実施例は、ブリックスを調整せずにトマトペーストからリコペン含有トマトオレオレジンを得る方法の結果を示す。トマトペースト100gを、酢酸エチル250gを用いて60÷Cの温度で3回抽出した。抽出物を合わせ、減圧下で明らかな乾燥状態まで蒸発させて、有機溶媒を含まないオレオレジンを形成した。生成物オレオレジンは、カラメル粒子を含み、非均質であった。抽出による収率は50%未満であった。オレオレジン中のリコペン濃度は1.5〜2%であった。
液果100gを加水分解し、熱水(80〜100÷C)1000gを加えて磨砕した。ペーストを3000Rpmで3分間遠心分離した。5〜7÷Bxおよび水分82%未満の沈降物を、酢酸エチル400gを用いて60÷Cの温度で3回抽出した。抽出物を合わせ、ろ過し、減圧下で見かけ乾燥するまで蒸発乾固させて、鹸化するための、有機溶媒を含まない均質なジパルミチン酸ゼアキサンチンを含むオレオレジンを形成した。オレオレジン中のジパルミチン酸ゼアキサンチン濃度は13〜15%であった。
乾燥ニンジン粒子100gを加水分解し、熱水(80〜100÷C)700gを加えて磨砕した。ペーストを3000Rpmで3分間遠心分離した。5〜7÷ブリックスおよび含水量82%未満の沈降物を、酢酸エチル300gを用いて60÷Cの温度で3回抽出した。抽出物を合わせ、ろ過し、減圧下で見かけ乾燥するまで蒸発乾固させて、有機溶媒を含まない均質なオレオレジンを形成した。オレオレジン中のβ−カロテンおよびα−カロテン濃度は5〜6%であった。
Claims (13)
- (i)植物を70°〜100℃の温度で水と混合して10°以下のブリックスを得るステップと
(ii)段階(i)の混合物を粉砕し、液体から固形物を分離して、果肉および漿液の2相を得るステップと
(iii)果肉を抽出してカロテノイド含有植物オレオレジンを得るステップと
を含む、10°ブリックスよりも大きいブリックスのカロテノイド含有植物からカロテノイドを抽出する方法。 - 前記カロテノイドが、カロテンまたはキサントフィルである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記カロテノイドが、リコペン、β−およびα−カロテン、ルテイン、アスタキサンチン、ゼアキサンチン、カプサンシン、カンタキサンチン、フィトエンならびにフィトフルエンからなる群の中から選択される請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記植物が、トマトペースト、ニンジンおよび乾燥ニンジンからなる群の中から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- オレオレジンまたは抽出溶媒からカロテノイドを単離する段階をさらに含む請求項4に記載の方法。
- リコペン、α−カロテンおよびβ−カロテンを得るための請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記植物が、クコの実(Lycium barbarum)、トウモロコシおよびドゥナリアラ(Dunaliala)バイオマスからなる群の中から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- カロテノイドキサントフィルを単離する段階をさらに含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記キサントフィルが、オレオレジン中で得られたキサントフィルエステルの鹸化によって得られる請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記抽出段階が、δHが0.0〜5.0かつδPが0.0〜10の溶媒またはその混合物中で実施される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 使用する前記溶媒が、酢酸エチル、イソプロパノール、エタノールおよびアセトンまたはその混合物からなる群の中から選択される請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記抽出が、いくつかの段階で実施される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記漿液を濃縮して植物の水混和性物質の原液を得るさらなる段階を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
