Description
本発明は、アクリルデバイス材料に関する。特に本発明は、柔らかくて高屈折率の、特に眼内レンズ(「IOL」)材料としての使用に適しているアクリルデバイス材料に関する。
小切開白内障手術における最近の進歩で、柔らかくて折り畳み可能な、人工レンズの使用に適している材料の開発に大きな関心が寄せられている。一般的に、これらの材料は次の3つのうちの1つに分類される:ヒドロゲル、シリコーンおよびアクリル。
特にIOLとしての使用に適しているが、しかしまた他の眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス(例えば、コンタクトレンズ、人工角膜(keratoprosthese)、角膜リング(corneal ring)あるいは角膜インレー(corneal inlay)、耳科用換気チューブおよび鼻用インプラント)としても有用である、改良された柔らかく折り畳み可能なアクリル材料が、ここで見出された。これらの材料は、1つの主要なレンズ形成成分のみを含む:アリールアクリル疎水性モノマー。本発明の材料は少なくとも約80重量%のこの主要なモノマー成分を含む。この材料の残りは、架橋モノマー、ならびに必要に応じてUV光吸収化合物および青色光吸収化合物からなる群から選択される1個以上の追加成分を含む。
本発明の眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用デバイス材料は、1つのみの主要なデバイス形成モノマーを含む。便宜上、デバイス形成モノマーは、特にIOLについて、レンズ形成モノマーと言及され得る。しかし、本発明の材料はまた、他の眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用デバイス(例えば、コンタクトレンズ、人工角膜、角膜インレーまたは角膜リング、耳科用換気チューブおよび鼻用インプラント)としての使用にも適している。
Bは(CH2)mまたは[O(CH2)2]nであり;
Cは(CH2)wであり;

Yは、なし、O、SまたはNRであり、ただし、YがO、SまたはNRである場合、Bが(CH2)mであり;

wは0〜6であるが、ただし、m+w≦8であり;そして
DはH、C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルコキシ、C6H5、CH2C6H5またはハロゲンである。

Claims (15)
- ポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、該材料が、少なくとも150%の伸張を有し、ただ一種類のデバイス形成モノマーおよび架橋モノマーを含み、ここで、該ただ一種類のデバイス形成モノマーが、少なくとも約80重量%の量で存在し、そして以下の式のアリールアクリル疎水性モノマーであり:

ここで:
Aは、H、CH3、CH2CH3、またはCH2OHであり;
Bは、(CH2)mまたは[O(CH2)2]nであり;
Cは、(CH2)wであり;
mは、2〜6であり;
nは、1〜10であり;
Yは、存在しないか、O、S、またはNRであり、但し、YがO、S、またはNRである場合、Bは(CH2)mであり;
Rは、H、CH3、CnH2n+1(n=1〜10)、iso−OCH3H7,C6H5、またはCH2C6H5であり;
wは、0〜6であり、但し、m+wは8以下であり;そして
Dは、H、C1〜C4アルキル、C1〜C4アルコキシ、C6H5、CH2C6H5またはハロゲンであり、
ここで、該架橋モノマーが、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート;ジエチレングリコールジメタクリレート;アリルメタクリレート;1,3−プロパンジオールジメタクリレート;2,3−プロパンジオールジメタクリレート;1,6−ヘキサンジオールジメタクリレート;1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート;CH 2 =C(CH 3 )C(=O)O−(CH 2 CH 2 O) n −C(=O)C(CH 3 )=CH 2 (ここで、n=1〜50);CH 2 =C(CH 3 )C(=O)O(CH 2 ) t OC(=O)C(CH 3 )=CH 2 (ここで、t=3〜20);およびこれらの対応するアクリレートからなる群から選択される1以上の架橋剤であり、
但し、該デバイス材料が、2以上の架橋モノマーを含む場合、該架橋モノマーのいずれも、CH2=C(CH3)C(=O)O−(CH2CH2O)n−C(=O)C(CH3)=CH2(ここで、n=2〜50)ではなく、そして
該デバイス材料は、第二のデバイス形成モノマーを含まない、
材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、AがCH3であり、Bが(CH2)mであり、mが2〜5であり、Yが存在しないかまたはOであり、wが0〜1であり、そしてDがHである、材料。
- 請求項2に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、前記アリールアクリル疎水性モノマーが、4−フェニルブチルメタクリレート;5−フェニルペンチルメタクリレート;2−ベンジルオキシエチルメタクリレート;および3−ベンジルオキシプロピルメタクリレートからなる群から選択される、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、該材料が、反応性UV吸収剤および反応性青色光吸収剤からなる群から選択される1以上の成分をさらに含む、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、該材料が、眼科用デバイス材料であり、そして少なくとも1.50の屈折率を有する、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、該材料が、約+25℃未満のTgを有する、材料。
- 請求項6に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、該材料が、約+15℃未満のTgを有する、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、該材料が、少なくとも200%の伸張を有する、材料。
- 請求項8に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、前記コポリマーが、少なくとも300%の伸張を有する、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、該デバイスが、コンタクトレンズ;人工角膜;角膜インレーまたは角膜リング;耳科用換気チューブ;および鼻用インプラントからなる群から選択される、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、前記デバイス形成モノマーが、少なくとも約85重量%の量で存在する、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、前記架橋モノマーが、約0.01〜15重量%の量で存在する、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーの眼科用または耳鼻咽喉科用のデバイス材料であって、ここで、前記アリールアクリル疎水性モノマーが、4−フェニルブチルメタクリレート;5−フェニルペンチルメタクリレート;2−ベンジルオキシエチルメタクリレート;および3−ベンジルオキシプロピルメタクリレートからなる群から選択され;そして、前記架橋モノマーが、CH2=C(CH3)C(=O)O−(CH2CH2O)n−C(=O)C(CH3)=CH2であり、ここで、nは、該架橋モノマーの数平均分子量が約1000であるようなものである、材料。
- 請求項1に記載のポリマーのデバイス材料を含む、眼内レンズオプティック。
- 請求項13に記載のポリマーのデバイス材料を含む、眼内レンズオプティック。
