Claims (7)
- アクセスポイントを介して無線通信するようにデバイスを動作させる方法であって、
前記アクセスポイントから制御通信を受信するステップ(820)と、
前記制御通信に含まれる情報要素が、前記アクセスポイントがOFDMAを実施することが可能であることを示すかどうか判定するステップ(824)と、
前記アクセスポイントがOFDMAを実施することが可能であることが示されない場合、
前記デバイスに割り当てられた複数の副搬送波の一部分を選択するステップ(842)と、
前記選択された部分を、無線で、前記アクセスポイントに伝達するステップ(844)と、
前記副搬送波の前記選択された部分を使って、前記アクセスポイントに第2の通信を送るステップ(860)であって、当該送られた第2の通信が、前記アクセスポイントにおいて、修正されたエラー訂正処理を行わせることによって、前記部分には存在しない、副搬送波における情報の欠如が、エラーとして解釈されないように構成されるものと、
を含む方法。 - 前記アクセスポイントがOFDMAを実施することが可能であることが示される場合、
前記アクセスポイントからの制御通信において、複数の副搬送波の識別を受信するステップ(830)と、
前記複数の前記副搬送波を使って、前記アクセスポイントを介して通信を送るステップとをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 制御通信を受信するステップが、ビーコンを受信するステップ(820)を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 複数の副搬送波の前記識別を受信するステップが、前記ビーコン中の前記識別を受信するステップを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の副搬送波の一部分を選択するステップが、前記デバイスの使用可能電力レベルに基づいて、いくつかの副搬送波を選択するステップを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記選択された部分を前記アクセスポイントに伝達するステップが、前記選択された部分を、制御通信において情報要素に入れて伝達するステップを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- エラー訂正処理を修正するステップが、巡回冗長検査を実施するソフトウェアの動作を変更(altering)するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
