Claims (4)
- 操作入力手段に対するドライバの操作状態に応じてセット車速を設定する車速設定手段と、
前記セット車速を目標車速として定速走行制御を行う定速走行制御手段と、
自車両前方を撮像する撮像手段と、
前記撮像手段で撮像した画像に基づいて道路上の標識に表示された制限速度を認識する制限速度認識手段と、
前記制限速度認識手段で前記セット車速と異なる制限速度を認識したとき、前記セット車速を前記制限速度に切換可能なスタンバイモードを一時的に実行して、前記セット車速と前記制限速度とを表示手段に対比可能に表示するとともに、選択指示手段に対するドライバの操作状態に応じて前記セット車速の維持或いは前記制限速度への切換を選択的に行う車速切換手段と、を備え、
前記操作入力手段は、前記選択指示手段を兼用するとともに、現在のセット車速を高速側に変更するアップスイッチと、現在のセット車速を低速側に変更するダウンスイッチと、を有し、
前記車速切換手段は、前記セット車速よりも高い前記制限速度が認識された前記スタンバイモードの実行中に、前記アップスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われたとき前記セット車速を前記制限速度に切り換え、前記ダウンスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われたとき前記セット車速を維持し、
前記セット車速よりも低い前記制限速度が認識された前記スタンバイモードの実行中に、前記アップシフトスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われたとき前記セット車速を維持し、前記ダウンスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われたとき前記セット車速を前記制限速度に切り換えることを特徴とする車両用運転支援装置。 - 前記操作入力手段は、現在のセット車速を前回のセット車速に戻すためのリジュームスイッチを備え、
前記車速切換手段は、前記スタンバイモードの実行中に、前記リジュームスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われたとき前記セット車速を維持し、前記リジュームスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われなかったとき前記セット車速を前記制限速度に切り換えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用運転支援装置。 - 前記車速切換手段は、前記スタンバイモードの実行中に、前記アップスイッチ及び前記ダウンスイッチに対するドライバの操作が行われなかったとき前記セット車速を維持することを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用運転支援装置。
- 前記車速切換手段は、前記スタンバイモードの実行中に、前記制限速度認識手段において新たな制限速度が認識されたとき、当該スタンバイモードの実行時間を延長することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか1項に記載の車両用運転支援装置。
