Description
ワイヤ等の強磁性部材における亀裂、切れ目もしくは他の不連続部分といった欠陥は、ワイヤ内部の磁束密度分布を監視することによって、検出することができる。欠陥が存在する場合、磁束が空中まで貫通する。直径が0.175mmのワイヤからなるロープの金属の断面積の、劣化や欠陥に起因した損失の定量測定は、0.175mmの量的分解能があれば行うことが可能である。「量的分解能」という用語は、本願では、付加的な信号処理を行わずに、センサによって直接に定量測定を行うことが可能な最小の欠陥である。
(電気抵抗の測定方法および測定装置)
本発明の他の実施例は、平形ロープ(例えばポリウレタンからなる)といった、非導電性絶縁材料の内部に収容された鋼製コードに電流を流して電気抵抗を測定することによって、このような鋼製コード張力搬送部材の劣化を検出することに関する。このようなロープの例として、ポリウレタンジャケット内部で張力搬送コードが全長に亘って延びたエレベータ用平形ロープが挙げられる。鋼製ロープの抵抗の変化は、ストランドもしくはワイヤが劣化していることを示す。エレベータの環境においては、コンダクタンスを要するこのような試験は、絶縁されていないベルトもしくはロープには適用することができない。ベルトもしくはロープが絶縁されていない場合、鋼製コードがエレベータシステムの金属製部材に接触してしまうためである。

検査されているロープの抵抗が所定しきい値に到達した場合、このことは、ロープの交換が必要であることを示している。しきい値は、測定されたサイクル回数に対して、荷重および疲労に対する応力レベルがそれぞれ異なる同様なロープを検査し、対応する抵抗値および維持されている荷重支持強度を測定することによって、決定することができる。これによって、抵抗値と荷重支持能力との間の関係を規定することができる。
(結論)
上述した検査システムは、ロープ状態を連続的に監視するために動作させるか、もしくは、保守整備工程中に周期的に動作させることができる。このようなシステムは、専用のシステムもしくは搬送型システムとすることができる。

Claims (4)
- 複数の導電性の張力支持部材を備えたエレベータフラットロープの張力支持能力を近似的に求める方法であって、
前記エレベータフラットロープの前記張力支持部材の各々に電流を流し、
前記エレベータフラットロープの前記張力支持部材の各々の電気抵抗を測定し、
温度および湿度の変化による抵抗値の変化を検出するように、前記各々の電気抵抗を、それぞれ、隣接する張力支持部材の電気抵抗と比較し、
前記抵抗を、前記エレベータフラットロープの張力支持能力を示す所定データと比較することを特徴とする方法。 - 電流入力リード線および電流出力リード線を、エレベータアッセンブリ内部で、前記エレベータフラットロープの終端部における接続点にそれぞれ接続することを特徴とする請求項1の方法。
- 前記の導電性の張力支持部材は、エレベータかごの荷重を支持するための、エレベータフラットロープ内部の張力支持コードであることを特徴とする請求項1の方法。
- 前記エレベータフラットロープが、前記の導電性の張力支持部材を実質的に包囲している非導電性絶縁ジャケットを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
